I purchased a 207 GTI, where someone has tried to fit 208 seatbelt pretensioners and steering wheel into the 207. I swapped out the 208 seatlbelt pretensioners for 207 ones to make sure this wasn't the issue. I then swapped back in the 207 steering wheel and airbag. The fault code is listed drivers side/passenger side pretentioner serious fault -...

Hi, does anyone know why my 2019 Peugeot boxer 2.0. injectors won't fire. I get the correct pressure at fuel rail and have tried new injectors. I also don't have any faults show up on diagnostic scanner.

Thanks

My 2008 207cc 1.6HDi has an odd gear change issue.
Occasionally, when downshifting from 5th to 4th, the gear stick becomes floppy between 5th and reverse, but refuses to move left to the neutral position.
Giving it a 'wiggle', ie back into 5th, or even partially towards reverse seems to unlock this and the spring will now allow the stick to move...

Greetings,

I have a strange coolant leak or something. This only occurs when I drive really really far, like +200km or so without a stop. Last weekend I drove +1100km and when I came home the coolant was below MIN and yet it only needed app half a liter to fill up to MAX.

I have not seen any dribbles or wet spots when I look down the engine...

Hi all,

I'm having an issue which I haven't yet been able to find an answer to in the forum despite searching and reading for some time now.

My apologies in advance for the long winded description:

When I start my car with a cold engine, it has no power. As in, it won't move from standstill without applying throttle and slipping the clutch....

My ABS light has come on my dashboard and after taking it to the garage they stated the ABS pump needs changing.
This is fine no issues - however I went to order an ABS pump from a second hand seller who asked for my abs pump number. They said I would need to order a new pump with the exact same number on the unit in order for it to work.
When I...

Cam Belt Replacement Timing Marks

Had cam belt strip teeth and damage cam. Setting Crank & Cam was easy enough however the Fuel Pump appears to have two holes where timing can be locked - does it matter what one it is locked in.

Hi everyone.
We have a Peugeot SUV 2008 21' engine 1,2L petrol and at 53.000Km the car gave 'Low oil pressure' alarm. The technical representative referred to us that it is a malfunction from the timing belt and perhaps this started to create problem to the engine.

Our 308 has stalled unexpectedly a couple of times recently. It happens at low revs and is normally preceded by some slightly odd feeling surging. That was pretty gentle though. It started up again after stalling, but required a bit more cranking than normal. Subsequent starts are as normal. No other running issues, and MPG is still solidly at...

Hello to all.

We are converting our 205 (1.7d) from manual to power steering. We have the rack, the pump, the pipework and reservoir. We are doing an engine and gearbox swap too, so with the engine and box removed, access is excellent.

However, the original shaft from the column to the rack has a square connector with a bolt, whereas the the...

I.E. is it do-able or not worth the hassle?
Any tips from anyone that's done it??

Hi guys,
Working on Peugeot 304s cabriolet
1.3 (B02) (75BHP) petrol (XL3S)
Can anyone confirm whether the No1 cylinder is nearest to the clutch end or the timing chain?
Seems to be different from other cars.

I hope this helps if others have a problem with the fan (especially the removal of the fan resistor!)

On a 2013 308 (P7) the heater fan was not working. Having looked at other posts about heater blowers for the C4 (C4 heater/air con not working) on this forum it seems to be a similar system to the Citroen. Note that this 308 is a dual zone...

Hi

I have a Peugeot expert DW8 engine 54 plate that has issues when I start it up. It has been laid up for 4 months.

My son's 208 suddenly ran rough, no power and idle was very rough. The EML was on, and diagbox pulled a P1339 code. On a restart it would rev, so not in limp mode straight away, but no real power. Rad fan ran on at high after engine switch off. Interestingly. it would start with any coil disconnected, but ran even worse, no matter which cylinder...

I have a Peugeot RCZ 2.0 HDi 163 which up until recently has been amazing.

We are querying head gasket or EGR cooler?

Bit of background:
Car does not over heat, does not produce white smoke, does not loose coolant.
Car looses cabin heat on idle

The only loss of coolant is via the expansion tank when this pressurises too much. This coolant is...

Hi , does someone else have experienced display suddenly going dark?

It happened yesterday, then it was back on and now it doesn't turn on at all, whick is quite annoying.

I assume that the power goes to the display since the orange wrench is glowing on a startup and then disappearing when engine is running.

Need help. Engine computer does not communicate. there is a fault code U1208 in ABS/ESP ..... Engine speed enters emergency mode 1500 RPM. Engine & ABS/ESP & STOP warning lights are on...... i can't find SERVICE MANUAL for Peugeot 206+ anywhere. with ECM VALEO V34.3

I currently have a fault with obd code of c1392

hi, I have a 2013 308 Diesel (1.6L)

went in to limp mode a week ago.
local garage has advised me that the DPF needs to be replaced - £400
they did also offer to drill it out and remap the ECU for £250 - appears this may be illegal, and would almost certainly invalidate my insurance even if not illegal

since gone to National Tyres Autocare, they...
