The RT3 was available in a few different hardware versions, the later ones supporting MP3 playback. These units had an optical connection to the Display Screen.

Usually standard equipment unless another system is specified as an option. There are Single & Dual Tuner versions. RD45 features over the RD4: The RD45 has USB connectivity & integrated Bluetooth module supporting Phone & Audio Streaming.

Hi everyone, I finally managed to change the VIN using Diagbox 7.40 once I swapped the Radio on my VanPeugeot Partner, Stereo Rd45 to Smeg +Iv2
The previous Radio did not have Bluetooth

We have 2018 Citroen relay campervan. The media button on the original head unit has stopped working, so I bought a replacement from eBay and fitted it.

With the new unit in place the odometer flashes, everything else works as it should, and the miles are still recorded on the odometer. I believe it's to do with the cambus.

Hello, ok this is driving me insane, I have a 2017 DS5 1.6 Diesel auto. The problem i have, the radio has stopped working, no sound, no station selection. Hi everyone, I have a problem. My RT4 has decided to die. The Citroën logo is visible, but it's constantly restarting. I think the hard drive is failing, but I'm not sure. I saw that you can use a Compact Flash card to fix it. Anyway, I've been looking for another RT4 and came across the RNEG from a Peugeot 407, but I don't know if it will display...

Hi, I've solved the problem; it was the cloning program. I used HDD Raw Copy Tool Legacy 1.2 and now everything is working with the CF card.

Amazon Music installation issue

Recently purchased new Renault Captur 1.8 Esprit Alpine with excellent infotainment system which, as well as radio, offers an Amazon music facility via the internet. However for the Amazon music to operate it's necessary to register with a Data organisation and this is where the problem is. It wont accept a photo of my driving license.

I've got a 2013 Peugeot 208 and the screen stays blank and no audio comes out of the speakers, the only way to fix the issue SOMETIMES is to take the 20A hello fuse out the fuse box for a couple of minutes and then reinsert it and wait 2 minutes before starting the engine only then will the head unit come back on and I've got my radio and music...

Hey all, I've recently got a 2016 Berlingo XTR WAV that has the Smeg head unit fitted. Long story short it's a terrible head unit so I I was hoping to swap it for an android one.

Just bought my son a 2013 Citroen C3 Picasso. The radio reception is pretty poor, (Only a couple of crackly stations), and have bought a seperate windscreen based antennae, not yet fitted. It does not have Bluetooth, which would be good to add. I've been looking at Bluetooth adaptors that plug into the cigarette lighter. Anyone had any experience...

Have a look in the glove box (I think), you may be lucky and see a usb socket, that is connected to the back of the radio. If so, get a Android Auto adapter <£5.

But, depending on radio, one could be added, but will probably need coding, but that could be expensive if going to a main dealer. Anyone with diagbox can do it.

Hi. I'm looking for help. Peugeot 2008, 2024. Black display, starts up once a week. Disconnecting the battery for 1 minute helps. Has anyone else had this problem?

At less than 2 years old any faults should be covered by the warranty so you should get your dealer to sort it. If you try yourself it may invalidate the warranty.

Our 2019 308 screen last year would only show the Peugeot logo and it needed a new radio to fix it. Rather expensive at £1300 for the parts and about £200 labour.

Just found good info from a different site-
The Philips tweeters all eventually suffer this issue, low output, due to glue not holding the diaphragm in position. Probably fixable, however the Denon Tweeters from the DS4 and DS5 are pretty much exact replacements including mounting and connector and are much more available

I recently purchased a used 2008 C4 Picasso and while I am already quite impressed with the car, I noticed that the Bluetooth function is only used for calls, not audio.

1. Is there any way to change this so that I can use a radio with Bluetooth for calls AND audio?

If you mean BT CarPlay, then unfortunately it doesn’t have that capability. If you mean BT just for audio then yes - that’s where the lag comes in.

Hi, I've recently purchased a 70 plate Peugot Expert Professional and the android auto just won't work with my phone. It works perfectly with my old phone which was an Ulefone Power Armour 16 running android 12, but my new phone - ulefone X31 pro running android 14 just won't play ball.

It does connect but the screen is blank for ages although...

New other car came with this stereo!Its a sony! I have to take the front off, as the seller warned me its always on and so drains the battery.

It does indeed stay on when the ignition is off.

Now my memories of doing this sort of thing, is there are two lives, a small one, that remembers the time etc, and the live that actually powers the head...
