My 2005 307 has developed an airbag fault on the passenger side, I've carried out a resistance check from the 4 pin connector under the seat to the 2 pin seat airbag & there doesn't appear to be any issues there so ive ordered an airbag bypass loom & I'll see if that narrows down the fault area by at least ruling out a fault with the passenger...

Peugeot 508 2017 GT version... Car was parked outside for two weeks. Temperature below 0 to -6

Middle touch screen was warm to touch when after driving 30 minutes I have notice the smudge in the middle.

Everything is visible only you can see there is some smudge when sun shining.

Activating themes on SMEG+

In Diagbox there are no options anymore to activate themes to my SMEG+ on my 308 GT 2015. I am sure i got at least 3 themes visible before in the theme options in SMEG+.
Now i only have redline and the COLOR button in menu stays grey... Except of that one, there are no other themes in system. I tried manual telecoding on Diagbox and in SMEG+ ->...

Just a quick reply to my question. I had a RNEG with no audio, every thing else perfect. I found the problem was the audio chip but there are two similar chips, one for 2Ω the other 4Ω. I found the correct one which was the 4Ω, so that is the impedance.

it's all connected up and working with the CAN bus via an adapter and detects doors/searbelts/error codes but is stuck in French and beeps constantly.

Installing a JBL spare wheel enclosed subwoofer in a 09 C5 x7 estate. The woofer suport both RCA and high level input.

Im thinking about splitting the signal going from the floor into the rear door speaker. Would this be a viable solution? And do the cables have any color coding or labling to look for?

I own a Peugeot 407 coupe, 2010 with RT5 on it. I read somewhere that is possible with some modifications to install a NAC on the car. I suppose i will need the new screen 9825031680, NAC source -9821908980 and one cable adapter to convert from CAN 2004 (my car) to CAN 2010-NAC interface mode.

Wrong map color after SMEG Nav Update

I lost the maps after reinstalling a SMEG, not sure why, so I reinstalled the maps from a USB key.
Installation went ok, I just installed one map because its slow. The map is installed and working
but the colors are all weird and the car icon is missing (blank square instead).

Hi there,

I've read every forum regarding the sound disappearing. I've checked speaker connections, amp connections,
smeg connections, resetting BSI, etc. I'm sure it's a SMEG related problem because if I put another working
SMEG in the car the sound works.

So any idea what could cause the SMEG to suppress any sound ? I guess that's a component...

SMEG reboot loop after telecoding

I telecoded my VIN number to a 2sd hand SMEG I bought to replace my malfunctioning one.
The telecoding seems to have worked has the annoying security bip disappeared.
Problem is that now the SMEG is rebooting in a loop after a few seconds of being on ...

I've tried recoding the oroginal VIN of the SMEG. It worked, bip has returned,...

Problem solved ! By formatting the GPS maps SD card.
I suspect the maps when installed are associated to the VIN or something like that.
That does not explain why when I've tried to go back to the original VIN the SMEG was
still rebooting. Any way. Problem solved. Just have to reinstall the maps on the empty
SD card.

You probably need to find the existing hands-free interface to disconnect it, and that will give you access to the microphone wires. You can also buy microphone cables from Ali Express. Hello friends

I am trying to disassemble this unit to repair a button and some light bulbs. Disassembly is quite simple, but I got stuck in one part of the process.

The volume button (potentiometer) prevents the card from being removed (as you can see in the video). The board is completely loose but, because of the volume button, it doesn't come...

This is just a guess, but surely, I would of thought the volume button would just pull off like most other units? I don't know this for sure, but if you think about it they would never of been able to assemble this in the first place unless the button just pushed on after the board was first fitted on the inside, as there is no way for the button...

Hey guys and girls. Has anybody here retro fitted Bluetooth to their car?

I've brought the module and the mic I've also used diagbox to enable the hands free option.

Here's my problem...... I can't find the plug for the module on top of the glove box?

I would have thought all the looms were the same.

Hope somebody can help?

The looms are not all the same. They only supply the correct one for the equipment ordered and especially with the fascia harnesses. I can tell you that on the MK I 508 there are a total of 21 different fascia harnesses.....

The dealer can recommend and provide an accessory kit for bluetooth.

I am currently own a 2004 Renault clio 182 that came with the factory fitted sat nav. I have recently fitted pole position seats to the car so needed to remove the GPS unit from underneath the seat, however this has now left me without any radio signal.

No you have a SMEG variant, either a SMEG, SMEG + or SMEG iV2 variant (which was the last of the SMEG range). The NAC connected systems did not come out until a few years later IIRC.

hey, everyone, my factory radio come with the wired carplay, it works well and it is the feature that I uses most frequently. But some of my friends all have the wireless carplay by installing aftermarket radios.

I have hust bought a 2007 Renault Laguna 2.0 Dynamic and am trying to find my way around the car using the owners handbook provided. Unfortunately, for some reason Renault have not included the basic instructions on tuning the radio!

There's not much support here for Renault I'm afraid, but it surely can't be that difficult?

Generally make sure it is on the radio and either press and hold the TUNER button until it beeps and it will search for and store the stations it finds.

2000 was the change-over year between Clarion and Phillips systems, so we would need the VIN or build date to know which was originally fitted.

With either brand, there were 2 spec levels and SX spec cars usually had the lower spec sound system.

Ok, so you need to change the following: For items listed as 'Missing' on your screen shots (Heating Ventilation / Under Inflation Detection), see if you can change these to 'Absent'.
