Thank you for this video and post. I am planning to replace both inner and outer tie rods on my DS3. I am curious for the inner tie-rod special tool, what is the diameter needed? In autodoc I can only find 35-42mm ( Is this enough, or do I need something smaller? I see the video recommends 27-42mm. Thanks a lot 🙏

same issue found on a friends ds5. the 2 sides were removed and repainted with a pretty close colour match at a local body shop.

That’s possible, but I’d be truly staggered if a main dealer would even entertain it as an option to fit customer supplied parts, tbh.

It is possible the car did not have footwell lights when built. If you post your VIN, admin might be able to look up your car characteristics/build sheet to see if it had them when built.

This oil is not as per psa specification. Its for older version of gearboxes. I cant see its even for any PSA group cars..

What you need is AW2 for your gearbox. One of those is RAVENOL ATF T-ULV Fluid which I have used…

Having enough pressure is not the same as having enough refrigerant, there is a chance it may still need a regas but see what the diagnostic shows.

I think you are right that front and rear are interchangeable. I've got a DS5 and looking at mine I can see no difference at all, the key bit doesn't matter as it's seperate.

I had the same problem with my right (drivers side) rear, it was intermittent and it's the one that unlocks the whole car which was annoying.

Ok, so I attempted the oil change today. Went and bought the 8mm square socket the realised it wouldn't fit inside the sump plug because of the subframe (thanks Citroen for the clever design!). It was not official DS or Citroen dealer. Not so problematic of having lower specs filter, as long as it is actually new and changed. Never mind I found the issue I tested the connector and turns out 3 of the wires where still broken so I repaired them and all gone thankfully, 👍😊

update replaced the ecu fuse box bsi and ignition all working now engine isnt bouncing around no more apart from keep getting
p0087 p0171 again ive replaced the relevant things and still popping these codes up but still runs fine apart from management light keeps coming on could be down to faulty parts of course running out of ideas now.

I've also looked into the fuse box in the glove compartment today and, although very tight, I can just make out the following locations are empty:

F20
F30A
F30B

There is also a blank fuse location at the top row of 8 fuses, the last but one from the end. But I can't see a number next to the fuses on this row. There's limited information online...

It's the bit that is like a finger grip that is at the rear of parcel shelf and central.
There are three holes in the parcel shelf where it should sit.

I would think regulator needs replacing, seems to be a common fault, not expensive to buy and reasonably easy to change

Thats most likely original one, so around 12 yrs.

Just to clarify, if your cars system is an earlier version of mine, it will have three batteries, traction, 12v for lights and another(48v?). The engine charges both the one under the bonnet and the third one via an inverter.
That's hell of a long time, I think you need to find it and get it...
