French Car Forum

Hi everyone—I’ve got an RT3 (CAN bus) version 6.63 on my Peugeot 607 with French language, and I need to switch it to English. I no longer have the original CD. Could someone help me by sharing the correct English language ISO for 6.63, or point me to a trusted download? Thanks in advance!

I have a C5 2.0 Exclusive Break -05 and I want to change language in the GPS.
When I try does it reply's “Insert the configuration CD”.
Tried with Lexia but It says NO dialog with the multimedia screen and NO dialog with the radio.
The GPS and radio works perfect but I want to change language from German to English.
Anyone who knows what to do...

I have an RT3 unit in my 2007 Peugeot 607. Last week when starting the car, the screen wouldn’t move from the “launch” screen, with the Peugeot logo on the front. It says “launching” then “ ready” in the bottom right hand corner but won’t move from that.

The radio comes on but obviously I can’t see what channel etc, strangely the functions work...

Hello everyone,

It’s a pleasure to be making my first post here on the forum! I’ve recently purchased a 2005 Citroën C4 hatchback as my first car. From what I’ve gathered reading through some threads, it seems to be equipped with the RT3 NaviDrive system.

As this is a second-hand car, it unfortunately didn’t come with any of the original...

Hello everyone,

My 407 SW has two issues with the RT3.
I cannot for the life of me get the cd changer to be discharged from the cartridge. The fuse isn’t blown and I can change the source but it won’t discharge.

Other than that, I require the CD-rom for changing the language. I cannot seem to find the file in the server. Attached is a picture...

Helo,
I have already written a message on language change topic, I couldn’t get cd to work and waited for the new unit to arrive but I encountered problem.

The cd unit seems to have different cable with less pin and unfortunately I am shipping back.

However, I would like to notice that strange behavior.

When you insert cd it gets in, but it...

The car has been without a battery all this time. Today I put a brand new fully charged battery in and the car started without too...

Hello everyone. C4 gp 2008 Would it be possible to get the wiring diagrams of the classic and color display devices somewhere, also the rt3 and rneg wiring diagrams, and lastly the robot vs. full automatic transmission selector wiring is different. I got the complete wiring from a 2012 gp 1.6ehdi robot with rneg system and I have my 2008 gp rt3...

My C6 has never had the best radio reception in the few years I have had it now. It has gotten worse so as to be un-listenable now.

It can only pick up the strongest of stations and seems to be even worse with those lower down the FM range. What it can pick up it full of static and the indicators do seem to influence it as the hiss gets better...

@marc
Thank you. You are the bible of RT3 and probalby to more other models:)
I see that output on RT3 is 4x35W, which is not enought for me. Found 9651773880 JBL audio amplifier, which is RT3 compartible from 607 peugeot and other models. Is it a basic plug and play amplifier? Do all those JBL original amplifiers fit on RT3? This JBL supports a...

Hi,

I’m still using the original RT3 unit in my 607, and have a “pay and go” SIM card installed so I can still use the ‘phone.

I’m able to receive SMS messages ok but every time I try and send one in return, I get an error saying “unable to send message” - there doesn’t seem to be any way to view / change the “SMS centre” to make sure it’s...

On the Mark I Citroen C5 up to 2004 and prior to the facelift, there were 2 versions available. One was designed to work on the VAN Network an the other on the CAN network.

You can identify them from the following buttons circled in green. On the front of the head unit, under the leftmost rotary dial you will have a button next to the one that...

I have a Peugeot 206 (2004) and I'm interested in upgrading the existing radio.

The radio us currently fitted with a Magneti Marelli RT3 unit, this comes with a quadlock connection instead of the standard ISO connection.

I bought a kit from Connects2 that I thought was going to be compatible with my car but unfortunately it isn't, they have said...

Hi Marc, I'm back again  can you tell me what radio/satnav is fitted to my baby and are there any discs I can get to utilize it?

Hello everyone, I'm a first time poster from Australia and look forward to seeing good stuff on here. I have a small house in France where I'm lucky enough to be able to visit for about 3 months each year. The day before I left last year I was donated a 2005 c5 by an old couple who had become too old to use the car. I had one quick look at it...

Hello,
im looking for information on the LCD display used with RT3 and RT4 radio headunits. The manual (for 307 2004) list it only as DT display.

Hello Everyone,

I need some help with an annoying issue that i am having. Hello.

I have an 2004 Peugeot 807 ,2.2 JTD with two clocks and large central screen and for a month ago has been giving me headaches.

Now when I start the vehicle the screen is black, but when I try to turn it on from...

Hi,
I have here a Peugeot 407 with RT3 SatNav. The Radio is working, however the CD starts playing but no sound is coming from the speakers. I read in another thread that there are two amplifiers, would that also apply to the Peugeot 407 and if so, which one would be responsible for playing CDs?

Hi there,

I own a 2006 3.0i C5 Exclusive since about 5 years now. I have some knowledge on diags and mechanics, so usually I can solve my own problems - however I ran into a very strange issue now, in which noone could help me yet.

Would the admin team be so kind and move my question to the most relevant section of the forum, please?

So, from...

Hi,
I would be very grateful for any advice with regard to getting my C5 2007 radio satnav working again. I have looked through old posts on this site and elsewhere but can’t quite get the answers I need.

Hi all

Hi,

I saw there was a similar post here, but as my unit is a different model I ask the same question in hope of a different answer.

I have a broken head unit that needs replacement. Do I need to get the exact same model (96640242YP), or are there other alternatives that will do the job? Please see the attached picture.

Thanks in advance!

Hi everybody. My Peugeot 207 Head unit is not working. The problem is the same as many. Makes himself a re-start. Now only the Peugeot logo remains on the screen. Would buy a similar Head Unit. What numbers must match between my old Head Unit and the new one. I'm adding a picture of my own Head Unit not working.
Sorry for the poor English .......

Hi all! In my madness i have decided to add the RT3 sat nav , replacing the small hump non nav radio.

So far so good - cut out the hump, removed the small screen, installed the mount and large screen, checked the radio work (and rewired the 3 small wires to the screen - that all works) and the nav even picked up satellites and the phone.
