Android Auto. How to play the radio whilst using Google maps?

I know this works because sometimes I switch to Android Auto and it does this be default but I can't see how to make it happen if I already have media playing

Any ideas?

I plan to buy a carplay module for my 308, SMEG system
I learned online that EBILAEN module, but they have two, one gray and one black
Has anyone bought it? How effective is it? Which one do you recommend?
Thanks in advance?

Hello guys!

I have a DS3 2013.
Bought the central speaker, but I need help to install it. Since i don`t have the BFH1 box, do I have to buy it? Because my car does not have the heated seats. I do not intend for now to buy the Rear sub.
I have to make or buy(if there is a code for that, would help) a harness for the central speaker and also, where...

Hello,

does anyone know the part number/s for the 7 touchscreen for the SMEG/SMEG+ infotainment?
I assume the RT4 or RT6 screen is not compatible with SMEG?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I need the latest firmware file for my 2022 C4X. The “My Citroën” app is showing a warning that my vehicle isn't eligible for the update, and the desktop app is displaying the same error. Could you please help me?

Best regards.

Hi everyone, I would like to ask local experts if there is a way to downgrade the firmware on the SMEG+iV2 unit.
I have version 6.4.A.R10 and I would like to downgrade to version 6.1.D.R20.
The reason is that the unit with version 6.4.A.R10 cannot be configured offline and version 6.1.D.R20 supposedly can.
I need it mainly so that I can activate...

Good Evening,

Has anyone of you tried to install the Hi-Fi system on a DS3? (Subwoofer and Central Speaker)

I've already done the entire installation with everything original and I can't get it to be properly active.

When i active in the diagbox the option of multiplexed amplifier, the SMEG iv2+ gets the sound too loud and without the...

Hi all, any idea how I can get my maps working again on my Ds7? I followed the instructions on how to update the firmware and maps exactly and now the maps aren't working. The error message I get is 'Map not available. Updating or mapping absent'. Any ideas?

Hello everyone.

I use RT4 in my 207 vehicle.

Can I install an RT6 without changing cables or anything?

I apologize for the spelling errors.

Hello everyone,

I own a Citroën C4 that I purchased at the beginning of 2016. According to my understanding—and as outlined in the owner’s manual—the car should support MirrorScreen, allowing the use of CarPlay and offering the DAB option for the radio. My understanding is that these features need to be enabled by a Citroën dealer.

However, both...

Hello, could someone write what software versions are in the Citroen C5X and possibly what the updates brought?

So just recently bought Peugeot Boxer Professional 2016 reg with TomTom sat nav. DAB didn't work. there was DAB on menu to chose, but FM still was rather than changing from FM to DAB. Read on internet and here advice was to visit dealer for an firmware update. So first i did decided to get my TomTom maps updated, and surprisingly now in 2023 i was...

Hi
I own a Citroen Dispatch 2017 and over the past year I’ve not been able to make or receive calls. Everything else works fine. I was running Android Auto and figured this was the source of the problem. However I’ve now changed to Apple Car Play and calls go through but there is no volume.
Having tried everything I now assume the problem exists...

Hello, I have looked for about 3 days for a way to identify my multimedia system or software system so that I can find an update/ map update. The car is a Citroen C5 Tourer from late 2015 to 2016. I know there are like 6 systems but I don't know mine, and my screen is the Touchscreen 7 with MirrorScreen based on the information I saw on citroen...

Hello everyone!
This is my first post and I hope my question won't be trivial ;)

I have a C5 X7 V6 HDi (2012).

I need information about the CAN bus (or other).
What CAN speeds are in the car? I know from experience that 500kbps has IDs such as the mechanical parameters of the car.
Are there other CAN bus speeds? I care about multimedia buttons,...

Hi all,
Clutching at straws here and hoping someone can help as I feel clueless!

I recently purchased a 2016 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso to replace my 2014 version of the same car that my partner so lovingly wrote off reversing it into a pole.

However this car doesn’t seem to have working DAB and the FM will only tune into a couple of stations...

Hi everyone,
I'm running of ideas. On my citroen relay 2013 2.2 150 radio is working and all the buttons but no sound from speakers. I have checked all the fuses. I have take the whole unit out to see if potentially problem with connection but appeared fine. I have replaced battery recently and not sure if that caused the issue.
Is there...

Apologies in advance, this is a very long post, but I found it difficult to get the level of detail right. I'm sure I won't have succeeded, too much for some, not enough for others, but let's try.

I'm in the process of replacing the RNEG on a 2009 C5 X7 saloon with an aftermarket unit with a DAB+ receiver.

If at all possible, I'd like to avoid replacing the main aerial base (looks like a difficult job to do without damaging the roof liner) and those windscreen DAB antennas also produce mixed results.

Since my RNEG has dual tuner, if I...

Hello,
I've bought recently (yesterday actually) a 2017 Citroen Grand Picasso 2. Since I know a little about the car for the time being I started with the infotainment.
I've read the topic a bit so I know that there are some issues with certs, I haven't tried to update the Head Unit (or whatever it is called in PSA nomenclature), but I would...

Hi all

I’ve just purchased a 2020 Citroen Relay which I’ll be converting into a camper. I’m looking at options for updating the radio so I can use CarPlay, and so far see the common approach is to install a Chinese or branded double din unit.

However, is it possible to instead retrofit the updated OEM unit from the 2023 model which includes...

Hi. I have a 2014 plate Citroen C5 II TOURER (X7), which I bought last year. The SOS light was flashing in the head unit which I could ignore. I swapped it out for an NG4 head unit. I still see the SOS light flashing but now there is also a loud beeping noise that starts a couple of minutes after the engine has been started.

Hello,

I installed a Chinese Android audio system instead of my RT6.2, and it worked well. However, there was one issue—when I park my car, the rear camera doesn’t display an image on the screen.

This audio system comes with a CAN bus module, allowing me to change many settings. I decided to try different settings to enable the camera. At some...

Hi all…

Just picked up my 10/01/2016 5008, love it although my only negative is the SATNAV and interaction with my iPhone.

I have read that changing to an aftermarket system you may loose functionality, parking sensors for one.

Has anyone replaced a RD45 with a pioneer double din and has everything working? Sensors, Rear Camera, Bluetooth...

There's no physical jukebox Matt, it's a feature of some Head Units ... It's not available on the SMEG units as they don't use HDD,s only flash memory and space is likely limited. The SMEG+ unit on our Peugeot 308 most definitely does have a jukebox. It's not something I ever used and I changed the partitioning on the SD card so that so that some...

Ladies and gents, for all those who enjoy reading a picture book (step by step guide if you will), I've prepared a treat ... first, how to install a myway (RNEG) navigation in a car that previously only had just a regular radio unit (RD4) ... the other is replacing a myway navigation with the newer emyway (RT6) navigation ... no Citroen Service...

I am hoping to upgrade the Rneg2 system in the 2015 Citroen Ds5 to a Nac system which was fitted to Ds badged Ds5's. I think this question has been asked multiple times before however I would appreciate it if a knowledgeable person went over it with me again and gave me their advice directly.

I have already obtained a Nac wav2 Dab version unit...

Hi I recently bought a 2013 Citroen C3 II. I bought a radio with a beam from the board and I have a central speaker with a subwoofer. Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the HIFI system in a Citroen C3 II? I know for sure that there is a lack of some power supply on this extra strip because I only have one fuse.

Has anyone on here any experience of retrofitting a SMEG+ IV2?

I'm looking at Android Auto options, so just trying to see exactly what work is needed to install a SMEG+IV2 to a car originally delivered with an RNEG unit. I know it's going to be pricey, but before I start hunting for parts I'm trying to get a feel for what is possible and whether...

Hi all,

Does any of you know the speaker cable diameter in C5 X7? I want to grab the signal from behind the radio to the amplifier and put back into the original wiring. In this setup buying thicker wire than original make no sense - that's why I'm asking :)

Thanks!

Hi,

I’ve got a very original ‘95 306 S16 with the original Blaupunkt 3040 radio cassette unit fitted.

I’d like to fit a CD changer into the boot and have purchased a Blaupunkt A05 changer with lead. However, I can’t see how to connect the lead to the head unit.

From research it seems the changer is plugged in via the steering control port ....
