Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

If there's a problem with the brake switch, the ESP system including a wheel speed centre then it will also affect electric the parking brake as the ESP controls this too, and of course the Cruise control functions will be disabled until the fault is rectified or is reset - until the next...

Don't want to put a downer on things, but be aware that there is a known issue with the camshaft chains on DV5 engines. Most vehicles before late 2023 manufacture have the 7mm camshaft chain that can snap. So make sure you use the correct oil which was changed in 2024 as a result to help protect the chain, mostly on starting in cold weather. Look...

Hi, just bought a Ds3 automatic for my wife, she fell out of bed over 6 months ago and severely injured her arm.
We had to sell her fiat 500 as she is now unable to change gear anymore, the Ds3 has only 30, 000miles on the clock and is a one owner car.

Got my 307 1.6 hdi about 4 years ago after my Volvo S40 snapped its cam belt. Love the car. It's an estate so useful for chucking my bike in the back and shifting other stuff (unlike the Volvo): such as daughter to Uni. Economical and has a bit of get up and go.

Hi all

I am tasked with keeping my mothers old C3 on the road. So far I have managed ok but I am now stumped.
It is a 2004 1.4 hdi that she has had from new. She is reluctant to give it up so I am doing my best to keep it running.
