I’m trying to activate 3D maps, but I can’t seem to figure out the .dem files. I’ve found some information online saying that it’s possible to enable 3D, but…

Has anyone actually done this?

Hello all, I am quite new to this community and come from Greece. I own a 2007 Peugeot 207 Rallye (same as a GT but without the sunroof). I want to start upgrading my sound system to firstly get Bluetooth song streaming and...

Hello to all

After the last success with the operation of the RNEG radio with the RT3 radio amplifier, I go to the forum with another request. I would like to know what is the structure of the files on the SD card of the RNEG radio and what each file means and what is its function. Specifically, I want which file provides the voice of navigation....

Hi,
I was looking around the forum for quite a while but never posted. Now something came to my mind.
I was thinking about doing video interface on the cheap - kind of like those that enable you to switch the video from rneg to reversing camera, external source etc. What I don't like about the existing interfaces in aliexpress for example is the...

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Picked up a 308 on Saturday, and the radio wasn't working. After a bit of investigation I have found out that the head unit is not the original for the car and it was disconnected behind. When it is connected it beeps continuously. There is also a spare 4 pin cable that has nowhere to go in the current head...

Hi guys.

First of all, I know there's already a lot of information about this topic, but a good part of it is old, and maybe outdated. I just want to be sure that I read the most up to date information before doing something.

So, I bought a used 2011 Peugeot 3008 1.6 HDi Sport, 112cv. From what I was able to understand, it has a RNEG system with...

Hello,

I've recently bought a C3 Connexion 2011, but the maps are 2011 and the software needs updating on an RNEG screen. Most of what I found online required a USB to update, that's not an option in my car.
I understand that I'll need an SD card for this so I have ordered a 32GB one to use.

The version my car is currently using is...

Hello,
i've got mixed results with RNEG satellites lately (e.g. since october 2023).

Most of the time i get 0, 1, or 2 Satellites, which results in no fix.

If the unit finds 3, aka gets a fix, it finds 9+ satellites then.
This is with a external FAKRA antenna, in fact i have 2 of them, same behaviour.

When i get 0 satellites, the gps time is...

Hi you all, new to this forum!

I recently bought a 2012 Peugeot 308, and I am loving the car so far, however, it has an annoying issue with the Rneg radio unit.

Hello, I have a 2010 Peugeot 207 running the RNEG system. I believe it's the RNEG 1 system as there is an SD card slot built into the unit. My issue is that upon buying the vehicle I have tried my best to update the firmware of the head-unit to allow me to change the language and units to English and Miles. Currently the head-unit only displays...

Afternoon all,

I have recently purchased a lovely low mileage example of the X7 C5 estate (2010 1.6Hdi) with a satnav. However, I am struggling to get the sat nav to pick up any satellites.

- Bypassed factory...

Hi,
Looking for some advice oh how to resolve this issue.

The issue first appeared approx. 3 weeks ago, prior to this I had no issues with the sat nav system. The sat nav lost its location, and would not reset to the current vehicle position when driving on journeys (including trips of over 15 mins). The firmware was the stock factory setup, with...

Hello,

So I'm looking to buy a car, initially I was looking at the C5, but now it seems that Peugeot 407 might be a better fit for my needs, and i am considering one that has the audio unit from the picture attached, that seems to be an RT6 unit, as described here.

Hi all,

New here so please be kind!

My wife and I have just bought a 2012 C4 Grand Picasso at the weekend. We were assured that the car has Bluetooth (which it does) but it wasn't made clear that this can only handle calls rather than audio streaming (which is essentially the only thing my 8 month pregnant wife cares about!) - my fault for not...
