I may well be at Little Horwood for the D gathering - if they will admit a lowly AX - and will be at the CCC National on the 15-16 July and the Little Horwood Chevrons rally on the 9-10 September... All in my diary...

So I got myself well & truly confused as to dates/events (mainly 'cos I've not updated my calendar this year) but the July meet IS the D rally AND - it's 2 weeks before the French 100th!

To bad I was in New Orleans that weekend, even if on the Friday I did experience the worst rain (& traffic) I've ever known.

My going was all part of some great plan (the details of which allude me already) which the weather brought to nought - AND, it was a lot of travelling on the off-chance it would be a nice day.

I'm not usually in the country at Easter, but if I am again next year - & with a bit more notice - I might well give it a go.

As a social gathering of Citroenistes it's really quite pleasant &, as I've mentioned before, I've learned that the enjoyment to be had increases exponentially with the number of people you know/meet BUT it's the annual national meeting of club for the products of a major car manuafacturer, so shouldn't one's expectations be greater?
