Some of you may have seen my posts on here when my 2015 Grand picasso suffered the all too common adblue pump failure with persistently screaming pump and Service light on, engine fault light and urea light on.
Diagbox says leak/ low urea pressure.
It is worth noting that diagbox says pressure is 4 bar even when its actually zero.It does not...

I would also say it has nothing to do with the CAN bus.

How many miles has the current tank done?
If it above a certain mileage then maybe it is time to consider replacing it as a serviceable part?

In the end I also had to bite the bullet and change the tank at 86000 miles. At least I did the work so it only cost the price of...

I removed the rubber flap, and drilled six 5 mm(?) holes to the cap.
Not sure about the drill size (dont remember), but when you remove the rubber flap, you can see good places for the holes from the inside of the cap.

FRONT DISC DIAMETER 283 THICKNESS 26
FRONT DISC DIAMETER 304 THICKNESS 28
and 2 for the rear

(3 different front diameters listed for my 2016 308. Similarly 2 different diameters for the rear of the 2011 308. Note the Haynes manual for the 2011 car doesn't even lift the diameter that was actually fitted!)

Car went into limp mode. Diagbox showed something like 'high resistance cylinder 2'. Measured the resistance on the injector, which was lower than the others. I'm hoping you can help me once again.
This time my husbands Berlingo 2009 1.6 TD.
It has a brake judder issue on the foot pedal when braking. We have a decent code reader which is recognising an ABS fault (coherance problem) on the front right side and we have a sensor on order but as we've had the sensor go on the front left previously...

Brake judder can be caused by problems with the rear brakes as well as the front ones. I had this on a Maxi and it was wear in a rear brake drum.

Rather than just replacing the discs the runout should have been checked with a dial gauge as well as on the new ones installed to make sure it is within spec.

I have a 1985, Series one CX Prestige with injected 2.5 liter engine. It had been sitting for about 5 months and now starts up only if I tap the gas but runs rough, and will not idle even when run to temp. Most recently It backfired once. So we had a heatwave, no problem, the car can handle it. WRONG!!!! Driving to pick my daughter up from school I lost acceleration and heard a hissing noise, I pulled over, popped the bonnet and just normal engine noise even when revving, so I carried on. VERY EASY to solve/protect the offending pinion shaft, if not recently done budget for a refurbish if you cannot inspect before purchase.

(3 screws in the footwell to remove the inspection cover so easy to check)

Eolys Tank Issues C4 GP 2016

Hi all,

I've been having issues with this.

so far replaced NOx sensor, Eolys injector

Had 2 Eolys tanks, and my mechanic hasn't been able to get either of them to communicate. Is this a known issue or is my mechanic likely to be doing something wrong?

Looks like you are confusing the 2 additives - adblue and Eolys. Ablue is for nox reduction and consists of the adblue tank (with built in pump), injector (into exhaust) and NOX sensor to monitor NOX and adjust adblue injection rate. Adblue is consumer filled every 10-15k. Eolys is injected into the diesel tank each time the car is...

Have a look at this site and it may give you an idea of what is involved in retrofitting cruise control. :)

So its doable, some models support OEM switch and some dont. But it needs coding from a dealership.

C4 Front arm noise

Citroën C4 Cactus 2019 plate

Hi, the front arms have been recently replaced on the car.
I am getting a creaking sound (front) when I drive over a bump.
The garage couldn't find any issues, but sprayed some lubricant on the arms and the sound disappeared. A week later the sound is back worse than ever.

Any thoughts?

A look at these two links makes the point. I'm guessing the garage used the £34 end of the scale so they could add a profit and sell them to the owner. Draw your own conclusions and maybe isolate the actual bush that is making the noise and replace it with a quality one.

When we purchased the vehicle the dash screen had got a malfunction and couldn't see the bottom half of the screen after several attempts with the replacement of it/or something else, the garage got it fixed and then it was a drama to get the bluetooth to work.
When this was sorted we had 2000 miles (well nearly) then a wierd thing started...

I did have to charge the battery before I moved it to load on the transporter (yes it went in to gear that time) as it wouldnt start and battery was to low after sitting for 4weeks. Which I suppose isnt a good...

The fault code comes on sometimes when u start it n sometimes when u turn off the car n on again its not firing well of which I exchanged the coils and the injectors and the spark plugs are well can it be the ecu malfunction or its a mechanical fault?
Of which this car sometimes is showing p13BAengine ecu code

I have seen the Lexia-3 / Diagbox are the go to for this and can be used on my 2009 207 also.

Hiya all,

Car was sitting for 1 month with cracked manifold. Manifold changed today. Battery black terminal disconnected. All good fitting new one.

When battery reconnected and car started all appeared good. Then discovered heater, power steering, wipers and electric windows not functioning. Head lights and indicators working and car....

Hi!

I have bought a faulty c2 to be repaired. Problem is that car is cranking but not starting.
I have so far checked that there is no spark, but smells gasoline so i think the gas pump works, no blown fuses (in my opinion). I replaced the coil pack and spark plugs and crank sensor, but still no start. I have measured that there is signals coming...

I have a spare ABS ECU and I'll see if it has terminating resistance on the in and out lines.

NOPE. Turns out to be just a plain old node. :(

I'm pretty sure there are no EOL resistance in the ABS
You can check this by measuring a perfectly working CAN bus line (60 ohms).
If you then disconnect the ABS unit & measure the CAN lines...

Clutch pedal was failing. Garage installed a replacement pedal-box that I sourced from same model/year car.

Got car back from garage and cruise control not working, been 2 weeks and I've only just had time to look into it..

The switch is plugged in but there is not actuator/cam (linkage) etc on the top of the clutch pedal...

i have a ciroen c3 ehdi 2013 diesel which until recently have been a great drive. when driving recently will come with a gearbox fault but no code.
Happens when the car has ran for awhile or when in traffic. engine is swithed off for a while and when swithed on will be fine, sometimes the battery head is removed and solved the issue...
