Well it's been a fun weekend.

Last Saturday evening, the HDi Xantia was not behaving itself. The transponder light was flashing for 30 seconds but the car would actually start and run. I narrowed it down to the fact that the ECU wasn't locked which to me was an OK fault to have. Better than the other way around.

Hi all, having another issue with the C4 mk2, the blowers aren't working. I changed the resistor and nothing, changed the motor and it worked, happy days, put the glovebox back together, tried it again and nothing again, has anyone had the same issue and solved it? Thanks

Hi there! I have detected this issue a while ago, did an alignment, tire pressures ok and even, triangle bushings ok, but as soon as the turbo kicks in and the car starts to do some stronger acceleration, the car pulls right.
Yesterday i replaced the inner steering tie rods, the old ones were ok, the issue remained. I am now looking at the back...

Don't know yet exactly what broke to make it happen , but had a large coolant leak (more than 2.5 Liters went out)
The thermostat housing or other plastic tube is the suspect. Only Monday will know.
Anyway , my biggest shock was that unlike the previous C5 , this X7 doesn't warn about low coolant level :shock:
Could they do that just to economize...

I've got a few of them missing and searched a lot trying to find a diagram, but couldn't find any.

My 2.7 HDI suffers from power loss and uneven running during acceleration. Prime suspect is of course an EGR valve. I connected my code reader to check running parameters. See attached pictures. There are three different parameters related to each EGR.

Hi all, I found the rear tyres on the c5 have excess wear on the inner shoulder as though the toe is excessive. These are 3 year old tyres and have done about 19k miles.

Checked just now with the track ace and the rear shows as being 30 degree minutes toe out at the rear. It's a bit toe out but I wouldn't have thought that was very excessive (?)...

After changing the bottom radiator hose and refilling the coolant system I get the above warning lights. I note that below the hose as it enters the engine there's a mechanism that looks as if it's hydraulic in nature. I may have disturbed it or the electrical connections.
