Hi all

I have a 207 with the TU engine in which suffers from the common problem of oil leaking from the front corner of the head gasket. I typically use the BGA head gaskets from my local motor factors and find they only last 1.5-2 years before they start leaking oil again. Can anyone recommend a better brand of head gasket that will last longer...

My 207's having a wishbone replaced this week and I was wondering...
Is it worth drilling out the rivets on the new part and replacing them with bolts before fitting it to the car

We have a 3008 which started displaying bpga issues, Bpga replaced end of last year, then randomly the car is completely dead, no response from stop start button, literally nothing. It's like it's completely shut down, battery is fine (replaced November) and also reading good voltage. Scanned and bringing up multiple faults but because the...

...a replacement for the Positive terminal clamp/cut-off switch that was on the car. It's a ERMETO HYDEXCO BATTERY TERMINAL CUT OFF. A handy screw-on/off terminal disconnect that apparently was standard on some French cars of that era. Anyone have one, especially the lower threaded piece which attaches to the Pos battery terminal? If so, PM me and...

While driving out the other night, my trusty van broke down. I was just pulling away from a roundabout when something went, it lost a lot of power, the turbo stopped whistling and the engine was clattering. There was a fair bit of white smoke from the exhaust and a strong smell of raw diesel.
I've since been towed home and had a mobile mechanic...

Getting ready for my first servicing of a 2013 plate 207SW (VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]) and I'm looking to confirm the correct oil specification for the engine.

Our 308 CC with the EP6-CDT engine has started to smell of petrol, but it seems to be intermittent. The fumes are raw fuel (not exhaust nor crankcase fumes) and seem to be drawn in through the air conditioning system, usually after idling at traffic lights or similar. Annoyingly it has never happened at home, not has any smell been detected under...

Hi everybody, I got this car a month ago from a used car dealership. I noticed some unstable little shaking of the engine in neutral (like every 4-5 seconds trembling a little), and recently my check engine light came on, remained there for some days, and then went off. I checked it on OBD2 (the cheap one) and found some error codes that are...

Heating in my 308 started to act up, totally randomly, no heating. I browsed trough Peugeot TSB, and I found one with the issue. TSB says to replace AC control unit. I still didn't check the price at the dealer, but I suspect it's not cheap. :D

Part number is 9832228080.

I found many affordable used control units. TSB mentioned that coding has...

Hello.
I'm trying to find a mating part connector for the sensor 9646573380 (see photo) but I can't find part numbers or anything. Can anyone help me please?

I'm currently looking around for one of these vans but I've heard that quite a few euro 6 Boxers/Relays end up coming in for engine swaps at low miles. (*Possibly* due to the timing belts snapping on the 2.0 euro 6 engine?).

I wondered if anyone here has any insight on that and could recommend which engine is worth going for: 2.0 or 2.2 BlueHDi...

Well, with the weather in NE Ohio finally starting to seem more like Spring, it's looking like my recently-acquired 306 Cabrio can finally, eventually, venture out of the garage. Plans are for a complete (and I do mean COMPLETE) fluid bleed-out and change, a new battery, and a trip to the local detail shop, to let them work their magic. I put the...

Our 2010 1.6 HDi (9HZ) 308 ran low on additive. I took the tank off and put 1L in, did the Pack Repair process (it now says full at 2000ml) and thought it was sorted. Sadly, the risk of filter blocking message is still on the dashboard.

I have checked and the DPF 80% blocked. Drove it hard for 15 miles but no change. There are no codes in the ECU...

Hello everyone,

I own a Peugeot 2008 GT Hybrid 2024 in Italy, and every time I exceed the speed limit (even by just 30 km/h), it emits a very annoying sound.

This is an ADAS feature introduced in July 2024 in Europe, called ISLA.

It is possible to disable it in the settings menu, but every time I turn the car off and on again, it automatically...

I need a new knob :-D

Plasti-chrome is flaking on the old one, and I cut my finger on it the other day. New Chinesium procured, but I can't shift the old one. 6 speed so supposed to just pull off, but not by me!

Slide hammer? Heat it up? Long pry bar or cold chisel under the edge and a medium hammer to try and persuade it off? Perhaps I can...

Hi has anyone had any issues with speed bumps on the 308 GT line?

Was going over speed bumps for the first time earlier and heard a slight scraping sound each time. Pulled over to check and lo and behold the underside of my car is now scuffed 🙄. It was the speed humps I've attached so they aren't particularly high off the ground (Although they...

Went to add some washee fluid to my 308 earlier but now the boot won't shut? It latches onto the catch but won't shut down fully? Anyone know any ideas how to fix this?

Hi guys, picked up a 308 gt line 2015 a few weeks ago, and the last week or so I can hear what sounds like a rolling clunking noise which is more prominent at lower speeds than higher ones. I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. Any ideas?

Car is currently sat at just under 70k, checking the MOT history it failed at 60k due to...
