Peugeot 407 RT3ev/RT4 please insert upgrade cd problem

Hello, I've got a 2007 Peugeot 407 with rt4 navi. Had the original software from 2007 and wanted to update it to 8.31 using usb. After connecting the usb memory stick and accepting to update on the navi, it restarted into the screen saying "PLEASE INSERT UPGRADE CD" and in the left down corner it has written "4.52:project:SECT39#1".

After I connect the usb stick with sw 8.31 it keeps saying "CRC Media checking..." and after 3 minutes it gives an error for the check and it restarts.

I'm stuck and I can't figure out what to do. I tried searching an older version of the firmware(I would have been alright with 8.20 as well) to install but I was unsuccessful finding anything.
