Toyota Proace Verso/Peugeot traveller ABS wheel speed sensor C0037 95

Hello,

I have a problem with Toyota Proace Verso (As it is the twin of Peugeot traveller Im writing it here instead of Toyota forum).

I had a C0037 error code (dont know which one, since I have scaned it with universal obd scanner).
I have replaced the sensor with the new OEM one (part number 9809926580) and the code remained, so i have bought lexia clone with diagbox. Diagbox shows now the code is C0037 95
Rear left wheel speed sensor : Non-coherent type of wheel speed sensor.
Later I tried also pluging third party (ABS 32062) sensor which is supposed to be a replacement for OEM part number 9806041680. The code remains the same.

I have swapped the wiring left wiring to right sensor and right wiring to left sensor and then the error code was on right wheel so it indicates that the problem is with the sensor itself and not the wiring. Also I have checked the wiring between sensor plug and ABS pump plug and there is continuity.

Today I have called Peugeot dealer and there are 3 part numbers of wheel speed sensor:
9809926580
9806041680
9843217880

Is there any way to know which sensor number I need? The guy on the phone said there is no way to tell. I have also checked the other sensor but it does not have any numbers on it. All of the sensors are the same size/plug etc. but the insides may differ.

Peugeot can't look up Toyota VINs hence they can't help - you would probably need to go to a Toyota dealer to find out for sure.

41680 says for Front / rear not signed
26580 says front unsigned / rear signed till RP 17128
17880 says front unsigned / rear signed since RP 17128

RP 17128 equates to build date of 01/10/23 - not sure if this info is recorded somewhere on the Toyota, on PSA there is a sticker on the B pillar with the info on.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have by any chance a picture of this sticker?
Toyota has just one number for the part su001-a3903 but its just a PSA part with another sticker.
Actually i have now just found some foto of the photo of the sensor where you can see the PSA numbers




For now I have bought another sensor OEM 9806041680 as seen on the photos, should be there before weekend so Ill keep you posted.
