...a replacement for the Positive terminal clamp/cut-off switch that was on the car. It's a ERMETO HYDEXCO BATTERY TERMINAL CUT OFF. A handy screw-on/off terminal disconnect that apparently was standard on some French cars of that era. Anyone have one, especially the lower threaded piece which attaches to the Pos battery terminal? If so, PM me and we'll discuss a purchase.
Oh, and since my original question regarding the correct BCI/Group size battery for the 306 produced zero helpful responses, I decided to do a little sleuthing on my own. And, Voila! The correct replacement for the Japanese Bosch battery which was installed in the Cabrio is a Group 47. Same dimensions. Same power. Same configuration.
I'm a happy guy....for now.
