Then got a new map update from but after following all instructions my unit just shows blue sky and and still O satellites. Here is the model

Radio last week started turning off and on every 20 to 30 secs. Can't turn it off totally so removed fuse.
I'm thinking it might be the cd head unit which appears to control everything.
Does anyone have an answer or a way to check if I'm right.
I've looked at finding a replacement cd unit. The only one I can find which appears compatible is in...

Hello.
I have problems with my RT6 RNEG2 radio, in Peugeot 308. I bought used car, radio worked normally. After few days, it stopped working. My wife was selecting diferent language, and it just died. Went black, nothing on screen. No sound, nothing. It makes sound, like it wants to read CD, about once or twice in a minute. Even there is no key in...

My C5 is a late 2014, so probably already from factory it was delivered with RNEG2.80.E.2. Just updated it with new maps for Scandinavia (2021) and risk areas (03.2022). Working well.
Struggling with dark view from reverse camera (someone someplace claimed there is a fix in 2.86 for this?), and sometimes only phone and not music from phone is...

Hi all,

As a new member I've been searching and reading through the many threads on this forum. As mentioned in another topic where I was looking to distinguish between the different (nav) systems (thanks @GiveMeABreak), I have an RT6 with maps from 2014.

Before I splurge €130 on maps, I wanted to be sure on the procedure, but currently not...

Hi to all :)

Have recently bought my 11/2012 Peugeot 308 e-HDI and a few times now it has come up with the attached photo symbol.
Can only be described as an ice cream cone with a scoop of ice cream on top.
Any ideas what it may mean?

Have obviously checked all possible handbooks and have tried googling to know. Got over hundreds pages with...

Hello all,

could anyone help me regarding my navigation system that blackout?
When power on the car the radio and navigation system remain completly black and a clicky noise is emitted from the CD-Rom.
Attach a small video on the issue.

Hello, I have a 2014 Peugeot RCZ facelift and a few weeks ago the screen, radio, ... Everything stopped working. Also the cd slot made noises like it was trying to pull a cd in. After some research I found it was the sd card fault and removed the radio and the sd card and bought a new one and put it all back together. Since the sd card doesn't...

Hey everyone, and greetings from Norway!
I know most of you are probably watching the Olympic opening ceremony in Paris at this very moment, but I'll go ahead anyway

It's my first post on the forum, so I hope I'm not stepping on too many toes when I say that I absolutely hate the RT6 system in my DS5.

I've been driving around with a...

Hi everybody,
I’ve red the topic regarding the internal sd card change using Mirascript, and I understood that this process is useful in order to save your specific car configuration.

My question is: if I simply put a new microsd card can I configure the radio using Diagbox as a new unit for example?

Cheers,

Today during the activation of “Shows pop up info as on instrument cluster” and “enable HARM03” functions through DatExplorer i found out another ones that are having the value “0” which means that are disabled, so no info shared on navigation.

As an example:
Display water and oil temp and TPM screen
“List of warnings” in SET-UP menu...

Hi all,

Hi,

Maybe can I cut the original cable and try to connect it to the screen ? I saw on eBay...

Hello,

Is there a way to check what Sat Nav hardware is on my car?

So it could help me find some potential problems with it, firmware updates or other useful information.

Problems I have:
1) Sat Nav keeps rebooting often.
2) Bluetooth connection is bad. Sound from phone keeps lagging or no sound at all.

My car is 2012 Citroen DS5 2.0 HDi....

Been plucking up the courage for a year to try the mirascripts repair for my SD card but every single line seems counter intuitive so I have to wonder whether it's even referring to my RT6 unit? I have seen units with SD card slot at the front. Mine is inside

....Now you can insert the USB stick into the USB port of your RT6...

No problems with phone calls.
Using with iPhone.
What could cause this problem?

Thank you!

Hello 🤝🏽

I have on my DS5 from 2012 the RT6 unit with the software version: RNEG2.31.C.1.
I saw that there are newer versions and my question is if an update to 2.86 for example is recommended or not.

I’m thinking that maybe this version comes with more features unlocked or with a better performance (even if right now the unit moves nice, i’m...

Hi All

I have no issues with the current set up, just want to update the maps and to do that i need to update the firmware and have read the posts about FW 2.86 causing issues.

Using diagnox shows camera present but nothing shows up when in reverse. All sensors work. Previous owner said it was working but does not know why it stopped or what they did (garage) is there a fuse? I did have to replace rear sensor when i bought it.
Any help or advice would be great

I have a feeling that my RT6 or the amplifier is on its way out. One issue is that if I go over a big bump (pothole) I loose sound on all sources including navigation, it will then come back some time later. In hot weather, the RT6 will suddenly go blank screen and silent for several seconds, then return. I've pulled the RT6 out, but can't find...

Hello
I have a problem with the RT6 radio in Citroen C4 B7 (2013) after updating to version 2.86b.
The sd card was damaged and could not be read. I set up a new card but soft 2.21 or any other did not want to get in except for version 2.86b. radio buttons not working properly after update. you can't enter the settings, e.g. it is supposedly...

Hi everyone,
previously i upgraded my 2008 C4's RD4 for a RD45 and everything worked flawlessly. Now i bought a RT6 and i was able to have everything working, even coded the VIN (directly modifying the files on the sdcard since at the start the confirm button did not work). The problem is when i removed my RD45 the 12v switched remote does not...

Just lost the satnav on my wife's 2014 c4 millenium, same car on this thread.

Apparently it stopped working for a day a few weeks ago but now it seems permanent.
The screen shows no satellites visable & unmapped zone .
Any ideas before she takes it to our local Citroen service garage who, I think, will give it the gallic shrug followed by the...

Hi everyone,
I cannot update the firmware from 2.80.E.2 (CD 8785) to the latest version available (2.86.B): when I insert the USB stick, the system takes about 2/3 minutes to check the media contents of the stick and returns the error “Update support damaged or incomplete”.
I downloaded the firmware from Citroen Service (I checked the size of the...

Hello,
Recently bought a C5 X7 with the RT4 head unit, and I'm looking into replacing it with RT6, what is the process, and do you need to replace wiring for it?
Thanks in advance.

I have checked my model details and found this lot,
Unit - 9806708077
CD8950
RNEG 2.86.B.1
SW 201501191200

How does that compare to the newest upgrade.
Is the firmware upgradeable to increase the usefulness of the satnav, and what's the latest map update with speed camera locations.

I'm still frustrated by the satnav's shortcomings and would...

Hi all,

I just bought a used 2014 Peugeot 3008. Initially I didn't realise that the headunit was faulty because the radio, camera etc seems to be working fine.

I then realised this issue when I start to try the buttons on the headunit. Try to reset with eject button hold method didn't work.

Now, I would like to ask for a help from anybody here...
