Corupted TTS_LANG.OUT file on micro SD card/ RT6 radio

Hello.
I have problems with my RT6 RNEG2 radio, in Peugeot 308. I bought used car, radio worked normally. After few days, it stopped working. My wife was selecting diferent language, and it just died. Went black, nothing on screen. No sound, nothing. It makes sound, like it wants to read CD, about once or twice in a minute. Even there is no key in or contact.

I was reading about SD card problems, failures. I got sd card out of the radio unit, tried to copy the files. But got an error, corrupted file in language folder. File name is TTS_LANG.OUT

How can i fix this problem? Can i get hose language files and replace them in this folder? Or do i have to install all software again?

Sounds like your card is end of life and is starting to show errors. You can try reinstalling the firmware, but now is the time to back up your user data urgently while you stall can using Mirascripts as per the replacement guide detaile din this thread:

But if the card is failing any further memory writes may worsen the problem, so do not use the navigation or Bluetooth streaming or play around with menus until you have backed up the user files in case of factory reset if later replacing the card.

Thank you for your answer. I cant use radio at all, there is black screen and nothing works...

Yesterday i found a guy here in Slovenia, who services those type of radios. He too said, that this is SD card problem. He wil come next week with new card, replace it and install software. Conect it with computer and pair radio with car functions. I hope that it will work. If not, i will dig deeper.

No problem, but for future reference - if you start getting any glitches at a later date with the replacement, take a backup of the user data whilst you still have display function.
