Been plucking up the courage for a year to try the mirascripts repair for my SD card but every single line seems counter intuitive so I have to wonder whether it's even referring to my RT6 unit? I have seen units with SD card slot at the front. Mine is inside

All vehicles with an RT6 have a USB port on the vehicle.

If you have an SD card slot on the front of the Head Unit, then you don't have an RT6, you have a MyWay system.

Look closely at the pictures in the main index of the telematics Forum here:

Although they look the same they are not - on the MyWay system at the centre bottom of the head unit you can see the word SD with the slot.
The RT6 doesn't have an SD card slot there.
