Peugeot RCZ RT6 problems

Unread post by CreativeName »

Hello, I have a 2014 Peugeot RCZ facelift and a few weeks ago the screen, radio, ... Everything stopped working. Also the cd slot made noises like it was trying to pull a cd in. After some research I found it was the sd card fault and removed the radio and the sd card and bought a new one and put it all back together. Since the sd card doesn't have any software on it I downloaded an ISO file for 2.86 RT6 software and burned it to a new CD. When I put the cd in the slot it spun for a minute and then just came back out. Tried it several times and the result is always the same. I've also tried to extract the iso files to a USB which I formatted to FAT32, but no luck with that either. Although when I put the usb in the cd slot noises stop. Can anyone help me out on this one? Thanks in advance!

There's a guide on replacing the MocroSDS card on this Sub-Forum.

If you followed that, and tried a BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure to see if that resets the RT6 (which may also trigger the firmware update) and it is not working, then it may be the motherboard of the RT6.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
