Hello! I am the somewhat proud and content owner of a 2008 C5 with the 2.0 RFJ engine, unfortunately married to a 5 speed gearbox.

The fuel consumption is horrendous when doing motorway speeds and I was wondering if anyone has or has heard of switching out the transmission to a 6 speed solution. Details are quite scarce around here, mine seems to...

Dear Community. I have got a beauiful Xsara Picasso with a huge 2 part glass panoramic roof. Unfortunately neither do the blinds, nor the roof itself move when the motor has been activated, though the cable with two broken plastic parts move accordingly.

I can't really find pictures how it should have looked like before, unfortunately the car...

Hi All,

I have a 2012 C5 that has a P1443, P2141, P0131, P2426EGR, 02 Sensor and air mixer Short to Earth.

Is this a common issue like an ECU fault or a wiring loom fault or fuse board common issue that causes this. Can’t seem to find anything that stands out.

Car runs and drives perfect just has engine light on and cruise control not working

Hi all, just new to the Citroen and wish to purchase a used c5x. But since the seller does not speak Citroen, then I need to conform that all the promised options are included in the car. I have contacted the main dealer regarding factory warranty and options list but, for some odd reason the sent options do not correspond with real world. Maybe...

My ABS/ESP failure warnings are now permanent. Lexia returns Permanent Fault - Electrovalve Internal . I have an identical 2nd hand ABS unit which I intend to fit before the MOT expires later this month (ABS PartNo 9635584980. ECU 10.0960-1113.3 Pump 10.0206-0005.4)
Is it possible to check the serviceability of the replacement ABS unit by simply...

Hi from Finland,
Bought C4 Grand Picasso 2007 for our family second car. Seller had only one key for it and therefore I purchased an extra key fob from aliexpress. Thought that I could program it with Diagbox 7.57 which I have. Now I noticed that seller (or some of the owners before him) also jad lost PIN code card for key programming.
I contacted...

Hello everyone! I'm new here.
I own a 2016 Citroën C4 Picasso MK2 1.6 BlueHDI 120 ETA6 S&S VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] and recently experienced an unusual starting issue.

Description of the Failure
A few days ago, after stopping the car for just one minute, I tried to restart it, but it wouldn't fire up.
The dashboard looked completely normal (no...

Hello my friends, I have a Citroen C5 2010 2 liter. I replaced the headlights from halogen to xenon, but the high beam does not work. What is the solution?

Hello dear forum members!

My 2010 Citroën C5 X7 with Hydractive suspension has suddenly become very stiff. No errors on Lexia, I’ve checked all 7 spheres with a pressure gauge, they are fine, the car raises/lowers correctly, levels properly, and the pump works.

The body feels hard and behaves unpredictably, on uneven roads it sways left and...

Hello.
I bought and import Citroen C3 1.2 (III, 2018) 25.9.2025 from private seller (France). After 2000 km two red engine light flashed on the dasboard and a wrench (spanner). After I stop and turned off the engine and waited few minutes and tried to turn it on again nothing happened. Citroen maintenance (Finland) told me the next day that engine...

On an old 10 reg C5 X7 it has the sat nav unit. The centre button/ knob thing is basically broke, it works in a kind of a way but usually no.
I do have a radio to listen to so I guess that is something (hate driving in silence).
But I guess with the other problems I don't think I will have it long as I say. The mot is out in November and if it...

I am trying to remove the rear OS door card on my 2014 Picasso C3 and have fallen at the 2nd hurdle, prior to starting I looked on line and found various vids which I viewed but none showed my model which has the rear sun blinds fitted. This model has a piece fitted either side of the window above the door card and I'm pretty sure they have to...

On a 12 reg C5 X7 3.0 hdi it has 185000 so seen better days probably. I will try bleeding it but if no joy then it is probably a new rack.

To be honest though I got it fairly cheap because of high miles short mot so really don't know if I should just cut my losses with it or fix things.
It has had a few things fixed in the last 2 years by the...

I have owned my Spacetourer Bluehdi150 for about a year. When I purchased it, the dealer replaced the battery and what they called the battery control module - could this be the battery management unit and protection (BMUP)? The car is in daily use and has thrown a couple of warning lights which have usually gone out. Recently, the car has been...

My car is a Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6HDi Exclusive, year 2005.

The heater blower motor is not working. The fuse is ok. My research suggests that the control transistors on the motor may have failed, so I want to remove the motor. The Haynes manual states that the motor is behind the facia lower centre panel on the left hand side. I removed that...

I have a 2006 C5 1.8L Hatchback that has done about 90k miles.

About a year ago (approx. 84k miles) I started to get P1160 error codes and the car would go into limp home mode.
Switching off the engine and restarting it seems to cure the limp home mode issue and the car drives normally. The service light comes on but after about 2 or 3 journeys...

Hello, I removed the door trim to repair the rear door handle. This piece was inside the door, and I don't know exactly where it came from. Where should this piece be installed? Can you show me a picture of where the piece belongs?

Hi
When I had the car some 10 years ago ( C3 mk2 2015 1.6 HDi Blue 100) I had sensors fitted to the front by the supplying dealer to warn me if I got too close to anything.
This was not a factory fitted option , it had to be fitted by the supplying dealer on delivery.
There is a round push button switch stuck to the dash next to the other switches...

Hi all,

My partner owns a Citroen Relay 2022 (L3) and neither the front or rear 12v sockets (cigarette lighters) work.

I have looked online for fuse box diagrams and have found this site:

However, the diagrams for the 2022 Relay do not match what I am seeing for our van. The above site states the 12v socket fuse is located in the engine bay...

Just read this on Sky News.

Citroen cars recalled over brake pedal fault

Citroen has told drivers of its current C3 model range to immediately stop using their cars due to a fault.

The carmarker issued a stop-drive recall - an urgent notice to immediately stop driving a vehicle because of a severe safety defect - over an issue with the brake...

Hi all new to the group.
I’ve got a clutch pedal switch fault p0908 & want to try & check the wiring before replacing the master cylinder.
But struggling to find a wiring diagram.
It’s a 2014 1.6 diesel.

I did read somewhere that the 5v ref comes off the app ?
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Thanks

Hi everyone. i'm willing to buy a 2010 C5 with the 1.6 e-HDI engine with the automated manuel 6 speed gearbox. when hard braking to a stop the gearbox returns to N and requires to move to gear lever to N then back to D. also it steers right also when hard braking. what is the culprit of both of these problems ? the owner says the master cylinder...

Hello

For some time, I was looking for a way to retrofit xenon headlights to my C5 X7.
I know everyone is saying that it is impossible, even with a hydroactive suspension, but I found a few diagrams that prove it can be done. For someone who is an auto electrician, wiring is not a problem, and that part is already done.
Things I've done till now...

Edit: C5 X7, 2015.

I recently replaced one of the front spheres. After that, the car is significantly higher in the front than it was before.
What could be the cause?

Procedure:
1) I depressurize the system using Diagbox
2) Wait 3 minutes
3) Remove the sphere and replace it with a new one.
4) Wipe it clean and start the car
5) The hydraulic pump...

Hi
Folks looking at possibley buying a 2012 semi or full auto
Berlingo

But concerend its 140k milage

Would be worried if anything like the nemo would be a shot gearbox and engine is possibley had it

My car flashed an engine management light then a ESP warning then trundled to a halt on the M1 at Scotch Corner. (I live in Glasgow)

Anyway the RAC says its an injector issue, just wondered if anyone had encountered same and if it could be a DIY fix as I had to shell £500 to be towed home.

Hi,
I have recently had the injectors replaced on the above vehicle, however, since replacement, 2 clamps have since snapped.
I have now ordered a complete set of 4 from my local Citroen agent plus matching bolts.
Has anyone else suffered this issue, is it an easy job for a relative novice to replace these at home.
Cheers

Because I am fed up with this system autoactivating every time and because it is tricky and fiddly to find the button, I have stuck a lump of blutack onto the switch.

Hi Experts. Have ongoing prob with 2012 Relay. 2.2 Ford engine 130bhp. 55000miles
Let me tell you the story.
Merrily going along the road. Engine light comes on and it goes into limp mode. Checked with OBD reader. EGR related fault.
Limped home .. Ordered and fitted EGR valve.
Engine light off, no faults, but engine now hesitates mainly when hot....

Auto petrol mhev C4 6 months old with 1800 miles. Handbrake stuck on automaticaly then dash sign electric traction system failure stop consult handbook . Cleared after 30-40 mins. Diagnostic shows fault codes & dealer said unfit to drive. Waiting for Citroen to resolve - no courtesy or loan car. Unfair with brand new car. Not happy.

Hello, an air conditioning pipe that goes into the holes I marked in the picture broke. What is the part number or full name of this air conditioning pipe? What is its name? I was going to order it online, but I couldn't find it because I didn't know the name or part number.

Hello,

I had a small accident with my 2017 C4 Grand Picasso and bumped the front. After that, a park assist error appeared. I noticed one of the front sensors was pushed slightly into the bumper, so I removed the bumper and refitted the sensor. However, the error is still showing.

I assume the sensor may be damaged, but my question is: will the...

Hello group.
I have a problem with the front height sensor, which a mechanic who is not related to Citroen came to me with the idea of ??raising the car by 2cm, which had dropped over time.
But instead of fine-tuning the position of the sensor on the front, he moved it a lot and the car dropped completely. I kept trying to adjust it from the...

Years ago, I could go to servicebox.com, type in the VIN, and find all the features and equipment of the car. Now I see that it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know why and how to find the full list of features of a Citroen?
