Is it possible to read codes from the ECU on a relay van 2016 2.0 bluehdi without diagnostic tool? I remember i was able to short two terminals in my previous car that would trigger the check engine light flash in a specific manner. This would represent a code/s.

I have some struggle with an LH front ABS wheel speed sensor, the old sensor has been replaced plus we have replaced the ABS module (w/brakelines)
The scanner says that there is short or a no ground to the sensor.
My question is how does the ABS wheel speed sensor circiutry look like.
We have tried to clean all the plugs going into the BCM...

Subsequent to a variety of tasks performed on the C5 (timing belts, water pump etc) the car is running a little warm...perhaps a bar or two on the temp gauge.

The cooling system wasn't bled after assembling everything - so this would be overdue.

SERVICE light on and the start stop system didn't work, The car was running fine no problems just a service light.

The fault codes are U1133 , U1134
Went to Citroen dealership in my town and they couldn't tell me what's the problem was, they told me to visit a Bosch Car...

Hi all, I'm embarrassed to admit, I never noticed the air intake hose (plastic) is missing!

It's the one from the outside panel (behind left headlight) to the filter box. From memory, it comes in two parts. A brackety type part on the panel behind the headlamp and the pipe from there to the filter box.

I seem to recall putting the car to someone...

Replace the drivebelt for the pump, as the long time squeeling has damaged it.
Then ensure the belt is incredible tight
- nothing like an alternator belt

I had to leave the fuel pipes off over night while I waited on a slide hammer to be delivered, once it came I replaced the seals with ease and refitted everything only now it won't start, I had the usual airlocking problems...

Hi, My 1.6hdi Citroen C3 2012 model is returning the error codes P0693 and P0691 . As a result of this it would appear that the car is in idle mode, will not do more than 3000 RPM and is low on power.
There was a fault with the Radiator fan controller/relay unit 1529. I changed the unit, it was obviously broken as the spiral resistor was corroded...

Hi there. My car is a 2011 C5 VTR+ (68k miles).
The passenger side window is not rolling down more than 1 inch. I realised this after I left my car parked outside more than a month over Christmas.
I though that I had to reset the ECU but that did not fix the problem. I force the window down whilst pressing the power switch, and it slowly started...

Chaps, the C4 needs a thorough going over, cam belt, water pump, spark plugs, filters etc. I have oil for my 407, wondered whether it specs for the C4 petrol? If someone (Marc) could chuck some part nos up that would be most appreciated. It's a lovely little car. This is a full, I say, full service so if cranks seals maybe required or anything...

i bought it new in 2014 ,done 160.000 miles all ok , never a problem , needed EGR valve , all changed all ok
2 years later 200.000 miles DPF cleaning problem , exhaust off filters cleaned , sensors changed , high...

throttle delay.... im finding that when i press the peddle, im getting at least a 1 second delay before the revs start ramping up?.. is this normal, or does something need looking at and or cleaning eg throttle body or something?

battery voltage... the car starts fine and if the headlights are on and i dont rev the engine within a few mins, i get the MIL light and battery voltage low displayed on the dash... im guessing that the alternator regulator is on its arse?.. any thoughts?. ( BTW, i tested the battery with my topdon tester and it came out good.)

Does anyone know the code for the brake caliper actuator on a C5 II break?

Recently I have had the engine warning light come on and a few beeps on start-up, in my 04 C3 mk1.

I have an OBDII Vehicle Fault Code Reader and the warnings that are coming up are as follows:

P1351 – IDM Input Circuit Malfunction/ Ignition Coil Control Circuit High Voltage
P0102 – MAF or VAF a circuit low input

Has anyone come across this...

I’m looking at buying a post 2015 C4 Grand Picasso, and just trying to make informed choice on reliability in general, and specifically whether the 1.6 vs 2.0 TDi is a better option from a longer term reliability perspective.

From what I can tell the two engine versions would be
- 1.6 BlueHDi (DV6FC)
- 2.0 BlueHDi (DW10FC)

So i got some water spiled on top of my dash from gf cup, and i thing it went doen to the panel control , now the reverse sensors are not working , also the speakers do not work, rest of the stuff are working as usual.
Checked all the fuses in the cabin , all of them working fine .
Any ideas?

This is a follow onto my post about the stiff gearbox.

A while ago I managed to blow the fuse for the front power socket with a dodgy iphone lead so whilst it was in bits today I thought I would locate the fuse and it would be a simple repair, not so.

I can only find two fuse boxes, on is under the bonnet and the other is tucked up on the inside...

I need the values for rocker clearance for my engine. The Haynes book for my car lists the values only for the engines 150A and 150C. My engine is called 150Y (nordic version?).

The car is a Citroen BX14RE, engine 150Y which is also called XY6B.

I have a C5 2.0 HDI 136 2006 is automatic, the mileage is 93,000 owned for 9 months due to bad knee swap for auto. I have issue is with auto, when is in shift D and I drove off the junction is fine smooth till change in 3rd gear it felt a bit like slip till 4th gear it makes worse when up the hill and off the accelerated the auto shift down...

Do you know anything of the third brake light fault? If its the light it self or wiring to the trunk lid or perhaps the brake switch?

Well 8 months on from buying it cheap with dogdy egs its finally conked out, first of all no gears , then after messing with auto and manual got 2nd gear and managed to get going ,as soon as i stopped at 1st roundabout, no gears, 10 embarrassing minutes of rounabout blocking got it into 1st and managed to get home without stopping,

I just got a 1994 S1 with what I thought was a blown dipped light bulb on the driver's side - all is well with the passenger side and other lights (incl. indicator and dims)
