Hello everyone
After changing the entire engine and replacing it with a second hand engine, my brother was driving the car for almost a year with many electrical issues all the time.
Now the car is cranking and engine can't start
i took it into my very humble garage and when inspect the wires, found that the oil level sensor with the yellow plug (3 connector) is disconnected and found no plugs for it at all.
Also the O2 sensor was disconnected but i found its plug and reconnected it.
I checked all fuses and it seems all of them are fine.
I connected my obd2 scanner and successfully connected with ECU but after seconds the odometer screen gous to save mode like the battery is weak! ( even its not)
And running code diagnosis and no codes appeared each time.
My question is: can the disconnected oil level sensor prevent the engine from starting?
And second Question: how i can reconnect oil level sensor from the ECU / fuse box in case the mechanic cancelled it for some reasons i can't understand !!
ECU bouche ME7 .4.5
Engine 1.6l 16v petrol (TU5JP4)
VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
