Adjusting radio EQ on TA announcements

Grand Picasso B7.Whenever traffic announcements come on via TA, the audio tone is altered and the voice is annoyingly bassy and booming as if full bass and loudness is on.Even if it is on the same station that I was listening to.
I have waited for a traffic announce ment then tried to alter the eq but during TA announcements the audio settings are greyed out.Anyone know how to access these settings

I think you are stuck as it's carried on a separate channel to the main radio, so you can't alter the settings for it uniquely.

You surely should be able to adjust at least the volume using the standard controls the next time a TA happens. That should make it a little less strident and more bearable.

Hi Paul, yes, you can adjust the volume of the traffic announcements and this is remembered by the radio so that announcements will come on at the volume you chose.This is quite useful ecause even if you have the volume down and are driving in silence, the Traffic announcements will still come on at the remembered volume.
My problem is that the EQ is very bass heavy only on the Traffic announcements.As soon as the announcement ends or if I push the off button on the volume control, the tone reverts to normal even when still on the same station during the announcement.( if that makes sense!)
It is like a different preset tone is being switched in by the TA switching signal.
