Hi all,

I been having a problem with my 206 1.4 HDi where I keep getting one dirty injectors and hence lots of black smoke while accelerating or pushing hard.

So far I have been able to notice some things:

- After injector cleaning, it runs ok for a week on the city, short trips, (one overfuels, another underfuels)
- Starts smelling with...

Hi.
I have just joined the forum after buying a 59 plate C3 Picasso 4 weeks ago, from a garage in Swindon about 90 miles from where i live in South Somerset, it drove OK no problems with the engine, went through all the traffic problems around Bristol and down the M5 and home was pleased the way it drove.
Went out a few days later up the M5 again...

Hi All,
I am looking for a bit of help with an issue I am experiencing with my Vehicle.
The issue is that the car has started to cut-out after the anti-pollution fault flashes on the display on the dash. It doesnt go into limp mode just cuts out. The EML light does not come on.
The car will re-start and can be driven, but can do the same thing at...

Hi thanks for reading, this is my first post on this forum.

My 2012 Peugeot 107 hit a small pot hole on my way home yesterday and I lost power steering immediately accompanied by the P/S warning light on dash, and hasn't worked since. I got out and inspected the car and engine bay for any obvious damage, but have not found anything. Now for as...

Ok best of luck.

I installed the new dpf (the old one was full of soot)
Ever since I did the manual regneration that seemed to not fully complete, I have not been able to communicate with the vehicles ecu!
I was blaming it firstly on the diagbox as this seemed to be giving problems anyway and any functions with it was so slow it was like...

Hi, I want to do manual telecoding in the original diagbox which is activated for one week for my VIN. When I want to do manual telecoding of the BSI, I get the following error: Access to this function not enabled. . I just can read the current configuration / telecoding parameters. I did try other ECUs and there the manual telecoding is working....

Hello, I have an oil/fuel leak around the injectors, and it's dripping down on the gearbox. So far I have changed the rocker cover gasket, injector seals, and intake manifold. The rocker cover gasket was changed by me so I can be sure that it's done correctly. The intake manifold and injector seals were changed by a mechanic, he said that he...

I'm troubleshooting an issue with my 2017 DS5 VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] left hand wing mirror.
It's a UK spec Prestige model, so has electronic folding and blind spot monitoring.

Symptoms are that the folding mechanism doesn't work at all (no movement at all, no noises made, no attempt to move) and there is no life for the blind spot LED on that...

Hi everyone. Is there any Members that live in the East Midlands that can Deactivate the TPMS on a 2011 Citroen C5 estate please , willing to pay for the job to be done and travel to you to get the job sorted . Many thanks Mark 👍👍

Hi everyone. Newbie here, I recently posted on another site but got very little response so I’m hoping you guys could possibly help me out.
Recently doing 70mph down Dronfield bypass and the ESP, EGR ABS warning lights came on, along with the SERVICE light and the automatic handbrake light. Did a diagnostic test and got Code P14a3, after some...

Does anyone know if a 2016 308 1.6 blue 120 has an upstream NOx sensor (before the DPF) or if the downstream sensor (after the DPF) is all that it has?

My Autel live data always shows a zero PPM reading for upstream but I get readings for downstream

I'm thinking it doesn't have an upstream sensor, can anyone confirm that?

Hi all,

Anyone has DB cleaner?

I've had VM version 7.57 installed and had to remove it because of storage and the fact I was installing official version for some online telecoding.
Long story short, I have tried installing v7.57 again from same files but it keeps showing as v7.60. It's not letting me do any telecoding.
I do have v7.57 physical...

Hi,

Long story, skip to the end for the question.

I came here sometime in October asking for help surrounding the Diesel Additive Pump on my newly purchased 2012 DS5 Hybrid4. I knew there was an issue with this when purchasing it and was told the fault codes:
B162C 12 (Accessories positive relay control and status inconsistent Relay not...

Hi to everbody,
It's my first post here. What's more I'm not car experts so please be patient if I ask silly questions or so

A few months ago I left my C4 in service to replace a turbo charger. Same time it appead a ABS/ESP unit had broken. They order a second-hand which didn't operate so order another with same result. Thinking that was...

Hi, I have recently acquired a 2018 Peugeot expert on about 90000 miles.
Not long after I had it, it started going into limp mode
here is the fault codes it's bringing up.
I am pretty handy with fixing things but I am unable to diagnose the the problem from the codes, can someone help?

I have a 18 Citroen Dispatch MKIII 1.6 Hdi that's showing an abs fault (and others I'm assuming that relate to not picking up the speed correctly).

On Diagbox it reads C0037 11 Rear left wheel speed sensor permanent fault, short circuit to earth. With no speed showing (the rest show 0 km/h).

I've replaced the rear wheel speed sensor however the...

I all,

I have a Peugeot 5008 1.5 bluehDi (2018) and I have a Lexia3 Diagbox 9.91 that is unable to connect to the ECU. I´ve been told that, for cars after 2017, it´s mandatory to have a PSA account (not Service box) for the system to comunicate with PSA servers.

This situation happened after an engine software update made in a Peugeot official...

I all,

I own a Peugeot 5008 (P87) II GTLine 1.5 BlueHDi 130HP - December 2018. At some point, I bought a Vgate iCar Pro BLE 4.0 OBDII and FAP app. All worked like a charm for some time. At some point, during a visit to Peugeot workshop (adblue reservoir and DPF substitution) they updated ECU software (at least they told me that) and, from that...

I bought a lexia 3 and I can't connect to the car. I tried in every way to update the firmware but it doesn't want to. Is there any other solution? Possibly which component could be defective in the tester to replace? I leave a video for you to see. thank you!

Hi not sure if anyone could point me in the right direction my 2013 2.0hdi van VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] went into limp mode recently only had a cheap code reader with me which suggested a Maf fault Ive since read it with a snap on solus which gave the above codes relating to quantity of air greater than expected and cold air greater than expected. After...

Hi everyone, I have an ongoing issue that may have several parts to the solution, meaning I may have several unrelated issues. Van has 180k on it.

Main notable point is Losing Power (Boost?), Erratic Rythmic Idle that can stop if you turn the steering wheel for instance, intermittent No Response from accelerator pedal for about 1 inch of travel,...

No and I would advise against playing around and changing anything. I've had to deal with several cases where owners have changed things and their vehicle was left inoperative afterwards.

What is often shown in the Menus does not mean what you think it does. As the BSI's are used across a range of marques and vehicles, there are some settings...

After years of service my Diagbox system came up with the VCI is not connected screen saying please connect a VCI. This was not normall as my Lexia 3 tool was plugged in and I had not had the information window come up saying it had been connected to my usb port. After reading other forums, if the host machines device manager shows unknown device...

Hi.
Wondering if anyone with access to SEDRE would be able to help me... My laptop refused any further cooperation so can't check it myself. I would need wiring diagram for Saxo indicators...
Thanks
Ben

Hello again.
Thiw time I would like to know if someone has found a Xantia compatible obd wifi scanner. I know that the communication protocols are not OBD, just the interface. So, I 've heard that Lexia is the apropriate type of OBD scanner, but I don't know if there is something small like the ELMs, but compatible with the Lexia. If anyone know...

I have a 2015 Citroen C4 grand Picasso 1.6 blue hdi.
We recently changed the battery. Following this the electronic hand brake won’t go on or do anything. There was a period of cold weather so we thought it may have something to do with that. Now the car won’t go into gear when you start it but the gear stick will move when she’s not running....

Hi all,

(now edited to include forum-hosted images - thanks chaps!)

This is my first foray with Lexia - thanks to a very kind local forum member who has kindly lent me his own kit, so that I could have a look at what is happening to our 2006 2.2Hdi C8. MASSIVE thanks to him, for starters!

Our C8 has been in my care for the last 75k miles of...

Looking for some help please. I want to carry out a compression test on my 2012 Citroen C5 MK3 1.6 petrol THP (Prince engine) as I am having trouble with number 3 cylinder not firing even after changing the coil and spark plug. The cylinder already has a lot of petrol in it so I want to stop the fuel pump from running by removing a fuse before...

For this vehicle just connect the USB to your laptop, connect that to the VCI (Main Unit and from there, the other connection to the ODBII Port on the vehicle.

Yes, the VCI is powered via the USB. So make sure that your laptop power saving features for USB ports are disabled! You may need to go into advanced power settings for this, look for the...

diagbox fresh install not working uninstalled but there are still remaining files i cant remove any help would be appreciated

Hi all,

I am trying to get Diagbox working so I can initialise a replacement NOx sensor on a late 2016 DS3 1.6Hdi. I bought the full chip kit from Easy Diagnostics, and after a little IT battling, I have managed to work through the various installation versions, v7.02, v7.57 and then a number of interim steps to get to v8.17 which is the latest...

Pre Heat test fails - with Diagbox - won’t start when core plugs require a temp of over 0c

Hi All

Looks like my heater plugs are not firing up, I’ve replaced the relay and there’s 12v at the relay, though nothing get to the plugs
Running a test with Diagbox 9.96 I get the attached
Any help or advice would be appreciated

HI All
can anyone tell me does this look like the MAF temp has failed,
this is looking at the car first thing before it’s been started in 12hours and not actually running, what throwing me is that there are other temps reading in the 40's even though it’s not been started, unless its remembering these temps from when it was last started ....

Hello from Brisbane,
Is there a fix the error U1134 , on my Citroen C4 after replacing the stop start capacitor and the battery and now I have this error U1134 nobody here seems to know how to fix it i have cleaned and checked all terminals.

Hi all

Can anyone assist me with this please?

When connecting diagbox v9.68 on my 2015 308 HDI 2.0 GT i get 'ECU not recognised'

It has a stupid fault where when it is below 10c outside the coil light comes on the dash and the push button will not turn the car over

I’ve replaced the heater coil relay and resistance on the plugs looks good, I’m...

Evening all,

The wifes C4 has started moaning about an ABS/ESR fault and the hill assist feature has stopped working. It started as intermittent and would do it once every now and again but this week it’s become permanent.

Unfortunately my version of Diagbox doesn’t like talking to the C4. Is there a newer version that will run on the clone...

Hey.
I own a 1999 Peugeot 205 1.4 with an original immobilizer.
In recent weeks, the immobilizer has gone crazy and no longer requires a code to drive the vehicle and automatically there is a green light when the switch is turned on.
On the other hand, it cuts off the fuel/ignition in the engine during the drive or while standing and constantly...

Hi,
I have been running Diagbox 7.02 quite reliably for some time now.
I have also been considering upgrading to 7.58, (the option for which came with the purchased kit).
Knowing how shaky and tempremental the whole system can be though, I wonder whether it is best to leave well alone, rather than try to fix something that isn't really broken?...

Hello. I bought a Lexia/Diagbox in 2014 for my 308SW which I sold a few years later, the car not the diagbox. I’ve now got a September 2017 2008 and find there’s no 2008 listed, I’ve also been told that my Diagbox is too old for the newer 2008 software, if this is correct can you tell me which Lexie/Diagbox and software I now need and if possible...

Hello.

I´m back...

The C5 still runs, but the antipollution fault is now a regular visitor of my dashboard screen.

So far, it has been in the dealer's office three times for the same OBD Code. P0411, secondary air pump.

Now it has new spark plugs, new lambda sensors (both, pre and post-catalytic converter), and even I change the ignition...

Hi guy's need a bit of help, just bought diagbox v7.57 how do I find the installation password for set up thanks

Could someone tell me the Air gap on the rear abs sensors on my Peugeot 206 1.6 petrol Hatchback 2004 LHD please.

Hi all, I am new to the forum and i'm very happy to have stumbled across the forum whilst surfing the web for an answer haha

I have a 2014 308 1.6hdi 115 with a intermittent injector fault which reared it's head a few weeks ago. After having the fault cleared and booting the car home i only seem to get little cough's now and again but still feel...

Some time ago I was going through Lexia and I thought I saw somewhere option to set the rain-sensing wiper option to classic intermittent wiping, but now I cannot find that option.
Does this option even exist, or was it just my imagination? :-s

Auto mode is practically useless (probably something to do with the sensor, but I don't plan to touch...

So I replaced the timing chain on my 2013 DS5 1.6thp, as far as I know I followed all correct procedures. Initially it was cranking but not firing, so I started troubleshooting that. After swapping in some coils from my BMW it fired up and was running very well (much better than previously when it was rattling etc), but the same pesky code that...

Does anyone know if and how we can connect to the PSA servers for a one off fee in order to download ECU software or updates.I thought this used to be possible but have been told that you now have to hold a permanent account in order to do this.
