diagbox fresh install not working uninstalled but there are still remaining files i cant remove any help would be appreciated

I have tried 4 different versions including one off easydiagnostics

Here's a bittorrent download link for a virtual machine (VM) version of Diagbox 7:

You need a bittorrent client program like qbittorrent to download the virtual machine, and VMWare Workstation Player to run the virtual machine. Everything's configured so you just need to plug in the cable and tell VMWare Workstation to route the USB to the virtual machine

The remaining files are locked in the registry and need manually removing. PM Marc explaining which version of windows etc. I don't want to post in public because if the wrong registry entries are deleted the 'puter will need a complete reinstall.

Hi Lads,
tried it on a different laptop, working perfect. thanks for the advice. Loads of faults, cleared them all. Not too worried about them mostly Comms faults so battery and ECU's disconnected explain most of them. Point is I can talk to it now so happy days. My old diagnostic laptop must be kaput.

If the usual means do not succeed in making the necessary deletions to reinstall the Diagbox, the easiest way is to reinstall Windows.

Unfortunately I have too much other stuff on that laptop I need to get the files and programs off it before I do that and won't have time for that for at least a month. I may have to wipe it long term though.

There is an uninstall program you can run which removes all traces of a Diagbox installation.
