Hi,
I have been running Diagbox 7.02 quite reliably for some time now.
I have also been considering upgrading to 7.58, (the option for which came with the purchased kit).
Knowing how shaky and tempremental the whole system can be though, I wonder whether it is best to leave well alone, rather than try to fix something that isn't really broken?
Views welcomed please on the pros and cons.
Thanks

Re: Diagbox - Upgrade or Not??
Normally, updates up to 7.62 do not cause any problems - however, a copy of the SYS file should be made to be on the safe side.
The collective update 7.xx to 7.57 is favourable - this way the many smaller update steps are not necessary.
Higher software versions than 7.02 are only necessary if newer vehicles after 2012 to 2015 require them.
For a XANTIA, which is diagnosed with the LEXIA contained in the DB, this does not bring any advantages.
Sometimes more is even a disadvantage.

Re: Diagbox - Upgrade or Not??
Mines 7.2 runs good , i did update to 7.5 its graffics are prettier and its more geared for 2015 and just above , so to be honest i want back to 7.2 , seemed best for my age of cars. Ive heard some story's of how it didn't w9rk for some users . 7.5 that is.
Husky.

From 7.24/7.25 onwards, the DIAGBOX has changed (other picture) - it was a long time ago - it could have been a little later.
You can try to install a lower update via 7.57/7.58 - but it probably won't work because the firmware changed from 4.3.0 to 4.3.2 when the user interface changed.
Delete everything cleanly and reinstall the 7.02.
Greetings Wolfgang
