I have a Dispatch 2016 everytime you start the van a message pops up on the computer “ENGINE FAULT, REPAIR NEEDED”! No engine management light van drives fine with no problems, sometimes comes in whilst driving then 10 secs late goes out. Any ideas would greatly appreciated.

I have changed cambelts on 2 Hdi engines in the past (1.6 90hp and 2.0 110hp) with little or no problems.
Thought it worthwhile doing mine now as despite a 140,000 mile service interval, the car is 12 years old with no history of the cambelt...

Hi, my car has gone back to being silly to start , immobilizer spazing out and the like . I would like to run a fresh 12v across the car to the ECU , and maybe that double relay .
Obviously there's a bundle of wires over there , many the same colour I'd rather try not to probe them all to work this out ! Lol

Hi I'm glad to tell that your advises regarding the battery clip were outstanding. I've sprayed it with silicone and that did the trick. so, I've managed to remove the battery and now I have to remove the battery tray - all of it in order to gain access to the gearbox to replace the two solenoids. to do this, I have to separate the unit attached...

My in cab fan isn't blowing very efficiently, I think it must be partially blocked somewhere so thought it would be an idea to change the pollen filter first. However after googling where it is I can't find anything that resembles a filter housing. Any idea where it could be?

My Mk1 C5 estate has a bizarre symptom. As soon as I start the front wipers, the rear one starts off on intermittent mode, and continues even when the main wipers are off. It'll go to wash/wipe mode quite happily, but switching it back to '0' leaves it in intermittent mode. The only way to stop it is when the ignition is switched...

under moderate acceleration the car pulls to the right, the steering wheel doesnt move (well, a tiny amount but not as much as it should for the angle it goes off at)
