Visiting the forum

Hi I seem to be losing touch with the forum even though I look at most posts and replies via links sent in emails.
Does this not count as ‘visiting’ the forum? I usually go direct to new topics and to the ‘last post since last visit’ for replies etc.

I don't see that dipping in and out is an issue and this thread is a contribution. The more people who know about FCF the better, just keep coming back and feel free to dip into the non car stuff. Even better, pass it on to others, the more the merrier. There are people out there who have answers to the questions asked here but FCF is more than just a place to ask questions. Get torn in. Enjoy.

I think he's referring to notifications.

@John You need to check your notifications settings and subscriptions, as depending on how you have set these up, you will only get notified of topics that you have explicitly subscribed to.

So for example, if you want to be notified about every post on the 'Citroen Forum, then make sure you have subscribed to the Citroen Forum at the top level like this:

Ditto for Peugeot, Telematics, Diagnostics Forums etc., then you will be notified of every post in these forums.

Are you signed in when just visiting the forum? If not then it won't be counted.

It is also a good idea to check your forum notification settings at ucp.php?i=ucp_notifications&mode=notification_options that link takes you to your personal account settings for email notifications.

Don't forget to update your forum email address here ucp.php?i=ucp_profile&mode=reg_details if you have changed email provider.
