Recently consumption and performance seemed to be deteriorating and the throttle body was diagnosed as the culprit. But when I looked for a replacement it seems everyone is out of stock. (shipping problems out of China?) I've come across a few spurious named part mfr's but I'm reluctant to go there.
I'm now considering a used part and my query is: Is the part specific to the model? ie. I have a 2.litre 163hp
C5 Tourer, will a throttle body from 1.6L C5 or other model suffice? (the part no is: 0345G7 / 9655233680)
Just to add to the frustration, when I pulled up today I heard a sharp crack from the drivers side door which I believe was the cable for the electric window snapping. When it rains, it pours!
Anyway, much obliged for any insight.
