The driver's side window has suddenly stopped coming all the way down. Comes down about six inches, no more! Somewhat difficult to take the parking ticket from the ticket machine at the barrier!

Re: Driver's window - Xsara Picasso
I think these have "anti pinch" on the windows which stop them operating if the window guide channels close up a tad, you might be able to spray a bit of lube into the rubber window guide channels and see if if free's off a bit however if it comes down at a fairly normal speed until coming to a stop it could be corrosion on the operating cable which then binds when it reaches the plastic cable sheath/guide. It might be a case of removing the door panel and clean up the exposed cable & lightly grease it, then try it, with the door panel off the lower window channel guides can be reached a bit easier for inspection. Don't use a thick grease though as this will just clog things up more, on both cables and window channel guides i just tend to use wd40.
Music keeps me going.

Re: Driver's window - Xsara Picasso
If it's stopped on the way down, I doubt it will be the Anti Pinch, as that reacts on the way up.
It sounds to me like the window regulator wire has possibly snapped. I'd hold off using the window as if you keep trying it you will burn the motor out and make more of a mess with the wiring tangling. It needs the door card coming off and investigating.
