C4 picasso 1.6 bluehdi 2016 folding mirrors not working

Hoping someone in here can give me some help I got in the car last night folding mirrors came out no problem turned car moved the mirrors them self's back to position (wife was driving ) as I was re adjusting them the both decided to fold back in and won't fold back out puddle lights indicators all work fine including the mirror adjusting buttons its just the mirrors them selves won't fold back out
If anyone can help me out that would be brilliant

Assuming you've tried moving the fold-back switch back and forth a few times, then the first thing to do is remove the driver's door pad control for the mirrors and windows. Often one of the plugs underneath the module can become loose with constant door shutting / banging. That would be the first thing to check as it is unlikely to be the mirrors given they were both working and have both stopped.

Yeah I've tried that but to no avail ill have a look at connection thanks for the reply
