Hello,
I have a problem with my Jumper 2.2HDI 2014 (Ford engine)
The electronic reading that shows the temperature is indicating wrong values. I am reffering to the one that shows on the left side of the display not the needle indicator on the right.
It shows -17 degrees when outside is only -4.
There is no check engine light on nor other indicator on the dash.
Can you please tell me, what sensor provides this information to the cluster and how does this impact the running of the engine?
Thank you
Wrong temperature reading on cluster Jumper 2.2

If it's the outside temperature, then the sensor is usually in the left wing mirror assembly. Pop your VIN up (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff) and I'll double check as on some body styles it may be on the right.

Ok, so according to this, you may have 2 - one in each mirror as it's showing on both mirrors!
Look for a small dimple somewhere on the underside of the mirrors.

Re: Wrong temperature reading on cluster Jumper 2.2
Thank you!
i have checked, there is one small dimple on the underside of the mirror but just on the driver side (LHD version)
I've opened the mirror and it's exactly like in the photo you provided.
I'll use the code from the photo to order it, thank you!
I still want to know just for my general knowledge: Does the engine management ECU uses this information in someway or it's just for the driver's information? I am asking because the engine has been working a little bit weird lately...

Yes, it does, The exterior temperature sensor provides data on Air Conditioning / Climate Control and the engine ECU uses this for other functions, but I can't provide exact details on this Ford engine.
