I have recently replaced my mk2 Xantia with this newish Mk2 2.2Hdi 6speed autobox C5 model mid 2006, with only 40000 on the clock. After few months of use I now discovered the tailgate lock will not open despite pressing the switch. All you hear is the motor turning and timing out.
I had to fold down the rear seats to get at the lock and open it...

Noticed today that the rear left wheel is pretty much inside the wheel arch where the others have some clearance still.

many thanks to citroen xm, with your help I've changed the brushes in my alternator,the only thing that puzzled me was that I could only find 2 bolts to loosen the tension on the belt, one was in an elongated slot and the other screwed up from the bottom to slacken the belt, I put it all back as it was and the belt seems about right for tension...

The audio sockets in the glovebox on my 08 MKIII C5 are selected on AUX 2 as the source. This implies that there's an AUX 1 somewhere, or am I missing something?
