Honestly - complete recon axles are now that cheap, it's not worth bothering with the CV alone

Hi Guys, got a problem with my c5 mark 1 I have noticed that if have the car on full lock, either left or right hand turn, the left tyre sounds as if it is seriously scrubbing. Only two days ago I noticed that when i repeated this manouver the tyre jumped from under the car and made a hell of a noise? It is as though the wheels are not aligned...

When I select reverse the passenger wing mirror does not drop on my Xantia.

Would like to get this sorted, but literally have no clue where to look first. Is there a relay hidden away somewhere.

Hi guys. Still chasing lhm leaks. I've changed most of the seals on the pump but of course can't get to the rear or underneath ones. Will the spring/ram at the rear be any trouble if I take the pump off?

Hello. Occasionally when trying to use cruise control it flashes at me and won't work until engine off and on.
My non dealer hooked it up and cleared the fault of incorrect speed from ABS.
It's happened again and my Dashcommand app just says P11AB unknown diagnostic trouble code.
I can't take it to the Citroen dealer as I tried almost 12 months...

They are not leather, they seem to be wrapped in some kind of rubber coating which comes apart with heat. Ive not seen many C5s with over 50-60K with steering wheels still looking good. LX and SX trims are not affected as they have a much better...

This is tricky as I don't have access to my car at the moment, and don't remember the exact fault code.
My new to me 57 plate C5 developed a fault on the way home from the garage and has been stuck at a main stealers for 11 days so far.
When the lights are on, it will often come up with automatic headlights disabled/fault (they are directional). I...

Is the above fault a fake one caused by software issue?
Abs test pass.
Also come up with tyre pressure faults. But they are working.
And brake fault on the display only when fault tester is working away.
Not sure if this is related to cruise fault or a red herring hence new post

A common problem it is, that the coating of the steering wheel of C5 I & II gets sticky and awful:

Please note that there are (at least) three types of steering wheels used in C5 I & II:

4109 EK, 'honest' plastic steering wheel
4109 FN, 'looks-like-fake leather' leather steering wheel, with stitching but no padding
4109 EX, real leather...

I have just bought a Citroen C5 2.0 HDI VTR with a heater problem.

The issue is that the front air vents and windscreen vents will only blow cold air no matter what the temp is set to. The passenger side is slightly warmer but still cold. Any help would be greatly appreciated as its very cold when driving!!
