C5 mk1 rear aux socket?

Unread post by waynedance »

A quick question?

Does the aux socket in the rear that runs from 12v permanent feed have any protection, I mean if the battery goes below a certain limit does it switch of the socket?

I don't think so Wayne,, I am 99% it is completely separate from economy mode.,, which is both very useful and potentially a minor cause of trouble

park on a hill ;) ?

John

edit , scrub that.,,
I think you can leave something plugged in all night and not invoke economy mode,, however, if ECO is active I am not sure the socket still is.. if you get me

My sat-nav left plugged in but switched off flattened the battery overnight.
