Hello,
I have a 2003 C5 2.0 HDI estate.
Last night the clutch was changed the clutch after it died on me.
Straight after I got the car back there was very little travel in the clutch pedal to engage it.
However, after driving around in it today the travel has increased quite a lot.
At first the pedal was quite low to the floor. Now it is quite high, just higher than the brake pedal.
The bite is now quite high compared to it being really low when I first got the car back.
Please help.

Re: New C5 Clutch issue
Maybe the clutch had a bit of air in the hydraulics , and has sorted itself out with a bit of use.
If the pedal feels acceptable now, I would live with it for a while, it may be fine.

Did they do the slave cylinder? Changed mine along with the clutch and DMF (at only £20 its foolish not to), my clutch now bites very low as opposed to at the very top before the change.

Re: New C5 Clutch issue
Thank you for the replies.
I did change the slave cylinder because it broke when the clutch died.
The pedal seems to have stopped in the higher position so it does look like it might have been air.
Is there anyway to adjust it?
