issues with Citroenbackup.doc

Post by Bandit12 »

Hi guys As I'm having a few minor issues with my starter motor I thought I would look it up and find out where it is and how easy it is to get to. However when I start the program I get this;

http://127.0.0.1:6091/docbackup" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

When I try and restart the program I get a javascript error?

Any tips explanations and advice are appreciated

Make sure you don't have pop up blocker enabled in Internet explorer (it defaults to on in recent versions but needs to be off for Docbackup to work) and you might also need to enable compatibility mode.

Hi mate, have done both those things with no difference. Any other ideas I could try?

Try pasting the initial URL into another browser like chrome. Its more than likely an issue with the configuration of your Internet explorer as IE has changed a lot since the version that was current when Docbackup was written.

It could also be interference from a 3rd party internet security package like Symantec.

Simon, are you getting confused with Sedre? As DocBackup doesn't use popups :)

Bandit, have SMS'd you independently of this, but if you want to meet up whilst I'm over I can take a look at this for you.
