hi,
I have a 2.2 hdi C5 exclusive 52 plate that has the third brake light not working.....it isn't an mot fail cos it passed two weeks ago,but I would like it working. I have looked in the handbook and it tells you how to change every bulb except this one?? it shows a pic,and says it is a "diode bulb" but gives no instructions on how to change it? might ont be the bulb, but why do they not tell you how to change this bulb when they do every other one? and does anybody here know how it is done?? thanks.........

Re: high level brake light estate c5??
IIRC it is relatively easy to remove and the common fault is a resistor going open circuit, fairly simple replacement.
There is a thread somewhere on the forum.
