I plan to buy a carplay module for my 308, SMEG system
I learned online that EBILAEN module, but they have two, one gray and one black
Has anyone bought it? How effective is it? Which one do you recommend?

I assume that you're using AliExpress as your source. If that's the case then AliExpress use the term colour to indicate the different units it will fit. If you actually click on one of those options it might indicate something like SMEG. The other option might then be NAC or RNEG. Try it and see.

I've followed your links and I am confused as well! Unless anyone else can come up with an answer all I can suggest is emailing Ebilaen themselves and asking them what the difference is.

I got a reply from EBILAEN, they recommended to buy black one, saying it is the latest

So far, everything is stable, wireless carplay, I also tried the wireless Android auto that my dad's phone uses, it's also good!
But I haven't tried the mirror link function yet

Mirror Link has been discontinued now - That's what Android Auto is for.

Once your phone OS is updated it will remove the Mirror Link Functionality.

I use airplay, and I found that after I updated the iOS system of my phone, airplay could not play videos due to the new restrictions of carplay company. . .

CarPlay has never been able to play videos in the car natively' when driving due to legality issues and being distracted whilst driving and you can be prosecuted if caught. YouTube and Netflix are examples that will not play videos.

So I expect you have wither a jailbroken phone or downloaded a dodgy profile to do this. Not recommended as a lot of these are scam apps loaded with malware.
