Hi guys,
After reading all 192 posts in this forum with the word "android" and not finding an answer to my question, I have to ask - once the car system supports mirror screen, should be not too difficult to see my Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra on the car's screen, right?
As I understand I need Android Auto. I see it in my smartphone, what to do to see it on the car's touchscreen?
So it is about Citroen C5 Saloon Techno Pack 2.0 BlueHDI Exclusive.
CarPlay - tested, works;
MirrorLink - I can't test it, sorry;
Android Auto - missing, wanted.
VIN:
VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thanks in advance!
CarPlay works fine, Android Auto - no

Re: CarPlay works fine, Android Auto - no
Ok, so basically NO!
This system does not support Android Auto and never will. It is too recent for the SMEG unit, so forget native support.
Furthermore, Mirror Link is toast. It has not been supported for years and if you update your Phone operating system it will no longer work in any case as support has been removed.
You have CarPlay and that's it. I hope that's clear enough

Thank you very much! Now I can stop thinking about it and keep using the windscreen phone holder for navigation.
