What DS5 Head Unit is this?

Hello, I have looked for about 3 days for a way to identify my multimedia system or software system so that I can find an update/ map update. The car is a Citroen C5 Tourer from late 2015 to 2016. I know there are like 6 systems but I don't know mine, and my screen is the Touchscreen 7" with MirrorScreen based on the information I saw on citroen navigation but that's about it the VIN and pictures of the system are

What I basically want is information on how to get the software version. For example, holding down many buttons for 5 seconds, etc., obviously, I have tried that.

You have a SMEG Head Unit.

To find the current firmware, hold the MENU button down for about 5 seconds and then select the system information option to see what firmware version you have. We don not supply map updates - you can get these from Citroen navigation:

Thank you man I even used chatGPT ... And they also said I have a smeg+ unit since i have carplay just wanted to double check, so i have to hold down the meny button, then go to the settings? Becuase when I do press the meny button I hear a beep and after a minute it restarts, also I factory reseted my car so know my car goes into economy mode when it is in igonition mode which I now regret doing becuase soemtimes you wanna listen to music without engine on.. Anyways thanks

It's a SMEG Analogue Receiver. All you see on the fascia are the controls, but the unit is hidden behind the dash. Each vehicle has a different interface so can vary on how to access the info, but you should have a system menu somewhere buried in there that will do the same thing.

Sorry if I am a bit annoying but to be double sure, this isn't a smeg+ or smeg+IV2 only smeg?

If you have CarPlay already operational, then a SMEG+IV2. You vehicle was built November 2015, and vehicles from late November should of been fitted with the SMEG+IV2 version. Yours is an Analogue version, so likely won't have DAB.

I know This is quite late and most likely will not be found, but... I completely gave up on updating my map because it was taking so long, but I wanted to remind the staff. I have tried to find my software version by holding down the menu for 5 sec and even longer, a system restart appears but no info pops up and no extra hidden menu comes forth in the selections when scrolling through all the options.

Press the "MENU" button and then press and hold the "Settings" icon on the display for 3-5 seconds. This should give you access to system information.

Hi, I'm not entirely sure what type of system I have either. I have the CarPlay menu on the display, but I can't activate it. It says "Contact your Citroen dealer to activate CarPlay". My VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. I have all these features activated on my 2nd C5 X7. Its VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
Is it possible that the C5 X7, which cannot activate CarPlay and is newer than the second one, is an older type of system?
