In the family we have a C3 Picasso 2012 with a semi auto gearbox. Now and then we receive gearbox fault in the display. We have a fault code P0948, which says, relay stays in open position. hi Marty. just above the words Citroen Relay 2012 in your request is a small box with words search this topic . I put in bleed abs brakes and got 106 threads. It does sound like you could have some air in the system. I personally would bleed the entire system in the correct order - hopefully someone will come up with better information. cheers

After some debugging, I have come to the conclusion that it is the fusebox (BSM) which is faulty.

My question is if anyone has relevant experience of changing a BSM?
Is it just to replace with a new one right away? Or should it be programmed with new software?

I know there are various posts here about the infamous leaking steering rack in C5s. I have a MkII (2009) and my garage got a refurbished one, but when they fitted it the steering wheel was out of alignment by a quarter.
They got another rack but side by side both look exactly the same so might produce the same problem.

As some of you may know, my latest tribulation is the head gasket has gone on the X1 1.9TD.

Finally got the head off today and it looks, to all intents and purposes, 100% fine.

There was a corner of the gasket missing. The front offside corner of the engine just behind the fuel pump but... it doesn’t track between the coolant...

As the title, shakes in idle but only when facing uphill, the steeper it is the worse the judder. The shaking is rhythmic with a slight pause between judders. Engine never dies though.

Any ideas? I'm drawing a blank as to where to start looking first. Van runs fine otherwise. Thought maybe an engine mount at first but the fact it only occurs...
