2014 C3 picasso 1.6HDI

Now and then my clutch pedal goes straight down to the floor and it is not possible to get it in gear when i looked at my clutch slave cylinder where the fluid pipe goes in the top clip nearest the pipe was not closed but the second one was would this be causing the problem i have. Thank you

Unlikely, the 2 clips are only for bleeding the clutch - most likely it needs a new master cylinder.
