Are there still forum members running their petrol C5's?
Mine will be 20 years old this autumn. Though I've owned only for nine.
The engine is still running good, it's just other parts in the car that fail!
Thankfully large pricey repairs i've been able to fix myself. Suspension pump removal, rear calipers removal, manual rad fan switch, new alternator. Then all the other smaller jobs.
Though a new rear susp pipe is needed next week to pass the MOT. Local garage may have a go, not sure yet!
Who still has a petrol C5?

Re: Who still has a petrol C5?
Hi, I've had mine for 7 years. The car is 14 years old.
Why did you have to replace your suspension pump; what were the symptoms?
I haven't had any big problems with my car. It has air in the LDS fluid currently but I won't hijack your thread going on about that.

The car had dropped, new fuses were blowing. So I removed it to zap with my battery to free the internals. Only time it's happened.XantiaNonStarter wrote: 17 Jul 2024, 13:00 Why did you have to replace your suspension pump; what were the symptoms?
And good to read yours is still running.

@xantia:
"I haven't had any big problems with my car. It has air in the LDS fluid currently but I won't hijack your thread going on about that."
How did you determine this?
Because the LDS fluid has additive in it to prevent foam.
Greetings,
Kees

Kees, thanks for your question. I'll start another thread now. I don't want to send seanrx's thread off course!
