Due to excessive server loading caused by some badly behaved 'bots' (automated content collectors), I have changed the anti-ddos settings on the site to be much more aggressive.

This has had the desired effect of reducing the server loading from 100% to about 10% (the other 90% was coming from just 8 IP addresses located in China).

Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

After solving A/C (condenser fan) problem, rear passenger door hinge replacement, my citron gave me a new reason for headache. Rear wiper and washing for boot glass starts to spray and wipe on it's own, without being triggered by me. Any ideas where to start searching...

Whilst checking Fred over I found LHM leaks again. 1 at the rear, possibly the height corrector (changed it for a secondhand one last year), and 1 from from the pipe that goes from LHM tank to pump (couple of years old and made of horrible metal weaved-covered pipe). Shouldn't be too much trouble, except I lent on the coolant 3 way pipe/ pressure...

Be aware that after removing the battery it can change to kms instead of miles. It can be changed back in the display settings. Mu Dispatch gad a weird MOT mileage for one year. It was showing kms.

When starting from cold It needs a few more cranks than usual. Also runs a bit rough for about 15 seconds.

The same issue came back..... Is it possible that economy mode is causing it all (it shows up second i turn the ignition on, the voltage of the battery is 12.4 something like that)? Have you checked if the immobiliser is recognising the ignition key ? Leave the key in the ignition and open the driver's door, most cars give a warning about the key if recognised.

Silent rear speakers

Hello
I have a c3 built 2021 with a standard built in radio.The rear speakers are very silent whatever I do in settings .Tried rear front settings to .The rear speakers are getting a max of 2 volts by full power .It was measured with an osiloscope.what can be the problem .Thank you

I need to give my Picasso an oil and filter change... DV6 engine with DPF and SCR...

Grateful for recommendations on what oil to go for and where to obtain same, along with filters without having to travel too far and/or subject myself to any stress. Planning to do the job next week...

I have a Citroen C4 Picasso 2017 (5 door) with an Ad-Blue tank.

I've owned the car for 12 months and only done about 8000 miles since I've owned (currently 56,000 odometer)

Iv never had a Ad-Blue car before, and I've not yet had to top up this one. I've not yet had any countdown warnings on the dashboard.

I'm preparing myself for doing it...

I don't think that's likely as the dose is so small to be honest and this stuff is widely used on commercial vehicles.

Even totalenergies have a solution (Clearnox) and they state it's tested in collaboration with engine and vehicle manufacturers.

Guys, I have a bad missfire that has gotten worse and worse.
Error codes on Lexia are
P1336 permanent
P1337 permanent
P0313 permanent (might be due to using lpg as main fuel)
P1339 permanent

I also did a live measurements, but video is too large to attach it.

TLDR:

Evening all,

Just a quick one (Hopefully :rofl2: )

My passenger side indicator light stopped working some time ago.
So... knowing it was a sealed light I purchased a new one and went about replacing it.
So I took the wing mirror apart in the normal way that is to replace the unit.

D'oh!
You should have the later revision of the firmware that allows you to change up and down gears while the gearbox is still in auto , without it dropping out of auto. This is handy if you don't like the way the gearbox is performing on hills and such but you don't want to go back to full manual.
I wish the AL4 had that, it's all-or-nothing!

Yes, most likely the clutch. The Sensodrive is basically the same as a manual gearbox. So changing the clutch should not cost much more than a manual clutch change.
HOWEVER!!! The clutch actuator will need to be reset before installation. This process is very simple but most mechanics don't know how to do it.
