I need to replace my warped LHM reservoir tank.
What is the part number ?
Any suggestions what vendor may have it in stock?
Thank you

We can help if you need an original genuine part number, part diagram or factory build sheet and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 2 years, so excellent value.

I don't know if any new LHM tanks are available, but it is rare to find a used one which has not sagged due the pressure of the spring clip.
This Turkish company has made a kit to fix a warped tank.

Re: PART # FOR XANTIA LHM RESERVOIR / TANK
Not sure if I posted this previously. I fixed a sagging Xantia tank using a short length of 110mm plumbing waste pipe. With the tank empty, measure and work out the height required. Cut pipe to this length, then also cut it through along the length. It can now be squeezed down to go inside tank, then opened out a bit to seat on the base, and round the aperture, also resulting in a big enough route for a free flow of fluid. Sorry dimensions long since forgotten.

I took inspiration and did the same. By my measurements, 100 mm soil pipe should be used, the hole in the top of the tank is about 90 mm diameter.thorter wrote: 13 May 2024, 10:07 Not sure if I posted this previously. The correct length for the spacer (to get the top of the tank level) was 152 mm. There are three moulded ribs in the underside of the top of the tank which get in the way, so I roughly cut 3 notches at 120° in the top of the spacer to clear those. I also drilled a few holes to allow some flow of LHM.
Warming the top of the tank with a hot air gun made it easier to get the bend out of the tank to fit the new spacer.

Re: PART # FOR XANTIA LHM RESERVOIR / TANK
Greetings.
First of all, I must say that the tube idea is very smart. The only thing that I'm sorry is, I didn't think it earlier....
Now, let me make a correction. The correct length of the 100mm tube , is 152mm (not 252mm). Also, for the right fitting of the tube I had to cut a side piece of the internal plastic "wall".
So, this my "version" of your idea...

Excellent. After doing the original mod I had no further trouble with LHM leakage, so I hope everyone has the same success.
