Re the 407 door seal issue and airbag warnings, after a few days of rain and testing with the hose, I gave up as water was still pooling on top of the bottom door seal and then running inside the car.

My solution was to put a few holes thru the seal with a leather hole punch tool which seems to allow the water to exit (the door seal gets squashed...

You'll really need to either retrace your steps and did you first disconnect the battery before you replaced the module following the ( BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure )? The circuit is live all the time, so always follow this procedure when replacing electrical components.

Hi all well last year for no reason I got a shove in the back everytime I put the car into drive,it lasted about a month,then it vanished,so last week it came back

ok the car was sat up for six months new battery put on cranking but wouldnt start quick look and found drive belt snapped.took tensioner off and it was very loose so both replaced from arnold clark at cost of 185 for both. wow it started.
Ok, so a week later went to it no go no cranking just ignition and Stop red message engine fault . plugged in...

Hi guys,

Just bought 2017 DS5, fantastic car, but cannot solve a small problem.

While both wing mirrors fold when I lock/unlock the car, I cannot fold them using the mirrors cabin control switch. I can adjust the mirrors using this switch if I turn the knob left or right, but when I turn it in the central position and push down, nothing happens....

How does it affect the rude quality over the 19” alloys?

I’m in two minds if I’m going for the 20’ or just refurb the 19’

As a general rule, going up in size of the wheel means having to use tyres with a lower profile. This in turn means that there's less compliance in the tyres and this translates to a harsher ride.

Hi,

My drive belt snapped on the way home and I've checked the pulleys and the tensioner (the one you see when you open the bonnet) and they all seem ok, is there another hidden tensioner on this car? heard there might be two if it has start/stop (eco mode/stat/stop has never worked)

Any ideas? I've got a belt (Dayco1020) but can't seem to fit...

Hello all, just got my ds7 ultra prestige 180 on an 18 plate. Had it a day and three lights came on engine fault, ad blue and the spanner. Would these all be linked to just the Adblue being low? If the vehicle has completely run out, you MUST follow the exact guidance in the owner handbook, as there are time conditions that you must comply with before turning on the ignition, otherwise you can end up with issues.

I'd contact the dealer directly as you should have warranty on it. Let them come out and try to do a reset - you can't do it...

Interesting to know the antenna connections are underneath this cap. Radio reception on my DS5 is worse than a few years back, maybe I can find something wrong in there. It falls back to FM frequently, so I can only listen to channels which are available both on FM and DAB+ (and FM is mono only, due to a know issue in the SMEG firmware :( )

The drivers door mirror on my DS5 has stopped extending out fully when you open the doors

Can this be manually extended any way to get it out to the right position

Didn't want to force it and break something expensive

I've tried moving them in and out using the adjustment stick for the mirrors on the righthand side of the dashboard but no...

Anyone bought any spark plugs recently ? I am changing mine and ordered what I thought was a set and only got one 🤔 As far as I can remember you always got spark plugs in a set. You don't just change one.
I have looked at other sites and I cannot work out if you get one or a set ??

When I worked at a garage we changed any damaged plugs with NGK 4 points no matter what. No need to gap them. If going for concourse events then obviously not.

Hello all,

Dave, new to this forum and seeking advice.

I have a 2010 Ds3 dsport, 1.6 diesel 110hp.

I'm looking to fit new injector seals, but struggling to find correct torque specs for the clamp hold down bolt.

I do know they need to be replaced when removed as they are strech bolts and that once torqued down a further part turn is required....

I have fitted many spark plugs over the years and always just nipped them up with the plug spanner but seeing as this is a newer car I thought I better do it proper with torque setting. But I cannot find the torque setting anywhere. On parts sites I am getting between 10 to 23nm so anyone know which it is pleas ?

DS4 heater blower not operating. Plugged a new blower resistor in. Nothing. However metal work on resistor touched chassis, blower burst into life. Can anyone explain. Motor doesn't seem to be getting negative supply. Can't source any wiring diagrams.

You may likely find it is the Heater Motor Control Module. When these fail it's usually all or nothing on the fan speed.

The power is supplied to the motor via the HMCM resistors, so that's why there won't be any power to the motor if this module has failed.

My car recently came up with ‘engine oil pressure fault: stop the car) and cut out, it now wont start.
Theres oil on the dipstick with now oil leaks to be seen (on the ground) and my diagnostic machine has given me the code P0130 witch is something to do with 02 sensor (google search)

Hi everyone,

I’m new here but hoping someone may be able to help me out please. I’ve had my 2013 DS3 for a couple of months and all was fine until this week.

Engine felt rough and lacked power and when I finished my journey the engine fan stayed on full blast for about 5-10 mins.

Hello. I am new here. I bought a used etense from 2020. after a month of driving, the electric brake got stuck and the console showed a problem with the brakes and a crash detection failure. All fuses ok. Where to look? After unlocking the brakes, the car drives normally, but errors are displayed.

Weird one this but I went out this morning and some drips of water came out of the overhead unit in the roof, from the corners of the part of the display which shows the seat belts (photo attached). I can only assume this must have been condensation forming on the glass roof and collecting in the unit. Has anyone else ever experienced this. I've...

Hi, I have a ds3 1.6 diesel in which the adblue injector needs replacing as its showing signs of leaking. I've looked online and it looks simple to replace, however once the new one is installed do you have anything with the cars electronics in order to accept the new part?

Ok, so you had an error in the 4th number of the VIN, it should be an 'S' not a 5, but I figured that out.

Here are the details for the fault codes as they relate to this engine, which may aid in troubleshooting, but I suggest you get some fuel in the vehicle as you can do without the added complications or faults due to a lack of fuel.

I managed to get it home in limp mode, and a message was displayed on my screen saying ‘engine fault - have the vehicle repaired’ I plugged in a diagnostic kit and fault code P1337 came up. Wondering if anyone is able to give me any insight what might be causing these codes?
The car has had a lot of work done at the garage since I bought it 8 months ago it’s becoming a nightmare. It’s had a new clutch and second hand gearbox fitted, new timing chain, oil change/filter change, new camshaft sensors - that’s just the work to the engine...

Hey guys.

I have just recently just bought a DS3 the rear wiper originally seems slow.. After using the washer on the rear window (so basically adding water) the wiper ran smooth.

After this the wiper won't stop no matter what position.

Can any one advise on the best course of actions to diagnose this..

Has the adaptive headlights- however they are not operating correctly.

They are, in the nicest possible way, walleyed. They appear to be both pointing outwards left and right of the car. Not front.

Main beam is good. Headlight adjustment by the switch doesn’t do...

Good afternoon all,

Is anybody else facing this issue? The rear cluster/quarter panel windows have some kind of film (tinted) as you are aware. On mine it has started breaking down and it looks quite bad...Any suggestions on how this can be fixed?

BTW the car is a Citroen DS5 Sport 2012

Have someone faced this issue?
This only happens when you use the 5' for more than 2 min.
Using 4' or 6' for long periods nothing happens.
DS dealers not able to give me a solution.
They suggested to change the clutch but not sure if It will get fixed.

I agree, it is probably a calculated value based upon engine speed, the selected gear and the road speed. Probably warning you that if continuing under these conditions the clutch could overheat.

Are you using 5th gear too early for the speed you are going?

Hi
I got this error code on my car P15B3 additive adding “Calculated additive level below minimum threshold”
it has nothing to do with the Adblue tank because it works as it should and registers every time I fill it up.
But I didn't think my car used both adblue and eolyse fluid but it seems it does.

Afternoon all. looking at changing out the rear indicators, Reg lights and reversing lights.

I have found a part number 6340F0 for a LED interchangeable online.

Has anyone successfully managed to change out the Reversing and Rear indicator lamps to LED without CANbus issues???

How old is the battery? Have you tried putting a new battery on first of all?

If that doesn't reduce the errors, you'll need a good auto electrician to look at it as you have comms issues with all the major ECUs on the vehicle.

The air con is fully had it down at Kwik fit with no leaks.

Replaced the radiator fan resistor (one on fan in engine bay) no luck unfortunately

The fan work on all settings hot and cold. But just not usual ice cold air when press AC button on

Likely a fuse may have blown. Using faulty mobile charging cables or cheap cables for chargers can sometimes cause an over-voltage situation on the vehicle Head unit if not careful.

I assume you mean wireless charging pad above. So the specific fuse may also affect the clock opening.
