Ds5 hybrid wheel noise

Unread post by wayne79 »

Hi
I've got a noise coming from my rear wheel.
I'm planning to change the wheel bearing however, I'm finding difficulties in sourcing them. A few places are tell me that the front bearings are the same as the rear? But the hub assembly is different.
Also is it more of a pain to change just the bearing, or should I just buy a complete rear hub?

2013 ds5 2.0 hybrid.
Thanks 😊

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Does it matter that it's a 1.6 & mines a 2.0?
Thanks

Yes probably the wrong one, but if you use the select vehicle button top right of the listing and enter your car details they will confirm it does or doesn't fit and if not offer you the chance to find parts that will fit. :)

The DS5 Hybrid uses same bearings front and rear, yes (outer/inner diameter 83/45 mm). I bought some low priced brand (from Autodoc) for the front, but the left one lasted only 5,000 km :grr: - So recently had to change again and I went for SKF. And now we'll see....

Yes, never buy cheap wheel bearings unless you like doing the job twice!
