This is the RT3 unit and was made by Magneti Marelli
The RT3 was available in a few different hardware versions, the later ones supporting MP3 playback. These units had an optical connection to the Display Screen.

Usually standard equipment unless another system is specified as an option. There are Single & Dual Tuner versions. RD45 features over the RD4: The RD45 has USB connectivity & integrated Bluetooth module supporting Phone & Audio Streaming.

I have lost the rubber extension to the aerial at the centre rear of the roof. I replaced it temporarily with the like item from one of my other Citroen cars. The radio reception is quite adequate with or without this extension. Are they in fact superfluous?

When my phone disconnects (eg I turn off bluetooth) from my Berlingo's wave 3 multimedia screen; it automatically switches on the radio at whatever volume I have it on. Hello. I recently purchased a Peugeot 607 2005 and i wonder if anyone knows how to use those rca connectors from the glovebox (White,Red,Yellow). I ve tried using a red-white RCA to 3.5mm audio jack but it does not work.
I tried searching for a way to activate those rca ports but i could not find anything in the menu.

The system is over 20 years old now, so you have to expect limitations.

You'll probably need a small audio jack to RCA converter to use this using, the Left / Right RCA sockets only and select the audio source once you have a physical connection to a device.

First I've heard of this issue, apart from over-heating, but that would first reduce the volume of the audio to reduce heat from the internal amp. The actual restarting or not switching on may be operating system based (SD card or internal hardware.

Obviously the later RD45 software versions will give better compatibility with connected phones (probably will have later bluetooth hardware / software), but the screen version you have will be fine.

Hello!
I just installed the aftermarket module to upgrade the Infotainment system of my C4 GP from 2015.
After a long struggle (and many scratches) I had to give up about fitting the module beneath the existing Nav system so now it's sitting in the glove box.

Do you have any tips of where it could be concealed?
Is there any space behind the panel...

What features you can retain (if any) will be dependent on the capabilities and compatibility of the after-market unit you are intending to fit, as the telematic Head Units are very much integrated into the vehicle. I can't help you with this, sorry, and I suspect you will need to contact the supplier of the replacement unit for support.

Hello all, I bought myself a 60 plate 3008 Exclusive 2.0 diesel. I was going through the settings and a message popped up saying phone not connected. Peugeot 508 2017 GT version... Car was parked outside for two weeks. Temperature below 0 to -6

Middle touch screen was warm to touch when after driving 30 minutes I have notice the smudge in the middle.

Everything is visible only you can see there is some smudge when sun shining.

All right after work 2 weeks the car was parked outside. From the cold start I though that it is fixed but it did appeared again after 30 minutes driving. But I had like couple of hours drive in front of me so after 60 minutes from cold start it was getting smaller. Probably 2 hours it was gone.

Since then it did not came back....

Activating themes on SMEG+

In Diagbox there are no options anymore to activate themes to my SMEG+ on my 308 GT 2015. I am sure i got at least 3 themes visible before in the theme options in SMEG+.
Now i only have redline and the COLOR button in menu stays grey... Except of that one, there are no other themes in system. I tried manual telecoding on Diagbox and in SMEG+ ->...

Just a quick reply to my question. I had a RNEG with no audio, every thing else perfect. I found the problem was the audio chip but there are two similar chips, one for 2? the other 4?. I found the correct one which was the 4?, so that is the impedance.

it's all connected up and working with the CAN bus via an adapter and detects doors/searbelts/error codes but is stuck in French and beeps constantly.

Installing a JBL spare wheel enclosed subwoofer in a 09 C5 x7 estate. The woofer suport both RCA and high level input.

Im thinking about splitting the signal going from the floor into the rear door speaker. Would this be a viable solution? And do the cables have any color coding or labling to look for?

Wrong map color after SMEG Nav Update

I lost the maps after reinstalling a SMEG, not sure why, so I reinstalled the maps from a USB key.
Installation went ok, I just installed one map because its slow. The map is installed and working
but the colors are all weird and the car icon is missing (blank square instead).
Is it required to install all the maps ?
