Hello. I recently purchased a Peugeot 607 2005 and i wonder if anyone knows how to use those rca connectors from the glovebox (White,Red,Yellow). I ve tried using a red-white RCA to 3.5mm audio jack but it does not work.
I tried searching for a way to activate those rca ports but i could not find anything in the menu.
Is there anything i can do to use them?Do i need a diagbox to activate them ?
I am currently using a FM Modulator but it does have lots of backround noise.

Re: Peugeot 607 RCA connectors
Those ports are only for connecting basic audio and video to something like an old camcorder or other device. You need to change the audio source in the Head Unit audio settings to get anything, but honestly there's really no point as you will have no control over anything except the volume.

Why do you need RCA ports? Maybe I’m missing something, as I can’t see why you need them and you haven’t mentioned what problems if any, you’re having with the RT3

Re: Peugeot 607 RCA connectors
I want to play music from my phone and some friends who had those rca connectors can listen to music from their phones, they just plugged in the RCA-to jack cable and selected AUX from source.
I dont want to burn CDs or listen to radio. And the car does not have an AUX plug, or bluetooth. Only those RCA ports, and i tought that i can somehow use those ports to plug in an AUX cable .

Re: Peugeot 607 RCA connectors
The system is over 20 years old now, so you have to expect limitations.
You'll probably need a small audio jack to RCA converter to use this using, the Left / Right RCA sockets only and select the audio source once you have a physical connection to a device.
The only other thing is like what you have already - a bluetooth / MP3 transmitter over FM in the 12V socket.
When I had an RT3 on my C5. I extensively used MP3 CDs, as the unit should support this and you can get 100 -150 MP3 songs on a single MP3 CD, and of course, you also have track skip and fast forward, so much better than what you're trying to use the AUX for, as this means you have to control the music from the music player and that's dangerous / illegal when driving.
