My brother needs a new engine for his 2010 207SW 1.6 Hdi 90.
His garage is looking for a replacement but hasn’t yet found one with the same engine code which is DV6ATED4, the code from the vin is 9HX and the variant/version is WE9HXC.

The sticker on his engine is:
DV6ATED4 E4BVM
10JBBX312034D
and the engine number from the V5 is JBBX3120340....

Could a blocked DPF cause sudden breakdown and throw up EGR codes ?

My fault code reader is showing water temp at minus 40 degrees c. The only water temp sender I can find I just above the clutch (1.6 hdi fiat scudo/ pug partner) disconnecting that sends the dash temp gauge up to max and throws the fan on with dire warnings but does not affect the ecu reading from still -40c . My windscreen is constantly foggy on the inside. If I turn on the air con it clears slightly but makes the car chilly!
I can only assume I have water leaking into the cabin from somewhere and it is increasing the humidity. Are there any known leak points? Blocked drainage?

In the process of changing the clutch on a partner 1.6 hdi 90 2014 and need to know how many bolts hold the gearbox.

We have 3 from the starter and 6 others removed but gearbox wont budge. Am i missing a hidden fixing somewhere?
