Is there a diagram to help me find the temperature sensor
My fault code reader is showing water temp at minus 40 degrees c. The only water temp sender I can find I just above the clutch (1.6 hdi fiat scudo/ pug partner) disconnecting that sends the dash temp gauge up to max and throws the fan on with dire warnings but does not affect the ecu reading from still -40c . Is there a second sensor for the ecu ? Thanks

Sometimes the ECU software has provision for additional sensors that are not fitted in some applications, and these will often give out-of-range readings, so perhaps you are chasing a ghost fault.

Could well be just that, but I've chased lots so far, running out of options, where do I find the vacuum filter ?

Which vacuum filter?
There is usually a little foam filter on each solenoid valve that allows vacuum to be "released".
